Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

Yup, appears to be true. Really sad as this kind of cancer I believe has a high rate of death. Say what you want about his roles but this just sucks.

Cancer scares the absolute crap out of me. I have had a friend overcome it and had a scare of it myself. So I hope and pray this will come out ok for him.

Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

I watched both my parents die of cancer.

Personally I'm hoping for a heart attack at 89 with a hot redhead and a bottle of viagra.

Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

It all depends Josh. My Tai Chi teacher's Master died at 92 and was still able to perform challenging movements up until the last years of his life.

That's true. If I'm still with it then I'd to keep going but I don't want to be a drain on my loved ones.

Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

Swayze drinks alot, maybe this may have been a factor? He was here in town not too long ago shooting a movie called Christmas in Wonderland, apparantly he was drunk numerous times on set. Really loves to drink.

Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

The toxins could go anywhere though. But cancer seems to be everywhere nowadays.(suspects from pesticides on our food to the air we breathe)

Right we can pretty much bite it from anything.

Makes me want a cheeseburger. :lol

Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

Having lost my own mother to breast cancer about a year and a half ago, it is a horrible disease. Unless you've been through it, you really have no idea. My sister's best friend lost her own mother to pancreatic cancer about 2 months after that. Once you find out, pancreatic cancer usually has an extremely short life expectancy, like 6 months.

Re: Patrick Swayze cancer?

Still kinda sad news, I loved him in The Outsiders..............well that was like 20 years ago........ I think you guys know what I mean.

I heard Swayze's cancer is due to the fact that our monetary system isn't backed by actual gold.
