snappahead apologizes. What snappahead meant was that there's not a lot of announcements for software yet, so all we have is speculation. Hopefully this week at GDC we'll see some software reveals and certainly e3. CoD isn't ideal as fast paced fps games can make people sick. Diablo style games are awesome in VR. Snappahead is expecting the Vive to be in the $500 range. The Oculus Rift could be as low as $350.

ah, not bad. thx

Thats a nice setup... a good case, I'm partial to the 780T in white, just bought that but I'm sticking with my Storm Stryker for a while longer. That 760T though looks cool.
How's that cooler? I seen a bunch of those Cryorig products but I don't know if they are any good :dunno I was thinking of getting some of their fans.

I have the same SSD :yess: :hi5:

I had the 600T in white sitting in a box for two years but my brother wanted to build a PC, so he gave me money for it... I preferred the rounder looks of the 600T over the 780T.

Gotta say though, I think the 760T is way bigger than what I needed.

I chose the Cryorig because from the reviews I've read, it's on par with the Noctua D15 and Phanteks cooler, it's a bit louder than both though.

It fit the color theme of my build to which is mostly my reason for getting it.(they come in white to!)

The 600T is nice too, idk I like sharp lines and edgy designs, thats why I bought the Storm Styker, if you wanna talk about a case being too big :lol. Sometimes its safer to go big with a cooler like that or the noctua..... if you get your measurements off even slightly you'll end up needing a new case :lol

Cryorig does get good reviews :duff.... Its loud though huh? I have a Cooler Master V8GTS, it looks great but can also be loud, I just turned down the rpm in the bios, or with the fan controller... I wish I could get compatible DeadSilence fans for it :ohbfrank:

anyway..... nice Rig :rock :hi5:

I've got a noctua NH-D14, uuugly, but it's quiet & does a good job.

The biggest sound difference I found on my last comp was the PSU, put in a corsair RM-1000. The fan in it only kicks in when the draw warms it up. Last time I dusted the machine the PSU was clean, so it's an overkill, but that's one fan noise down.

Yeah I love that.... works well on my 760i

I still don't trust water coolers, my first one died pretty fast... they do look nice though.

I have a D14 in my old rig, it's a great cooler. :)

Always loved that one, I ended up getting another one that was better at cooling always wanted that one. Ended up going closed loop, water.

closed loop, Corsair H100i...no problems so far...been about a year and a half I guess.

Was it a custom or closed loop cooler? I bought a Corsair H55 last year, and I've been wondering about the life expectancy of the pump.

Closed loop, mine was an Asetek... It died around 2 to 3 years I think?

I use a Be Quiet: Dark rock pro II, it has been going strong for a couple of years now, keeps everything nice and cool...

I've only had my H55 for six months now :lol. It has been working great, but the operational temps on my i5 are always above 50 C - which leaves hardly any room for overclocking.

For my next PC build, I'm definitely going with a custom loop.
