haven't seen anything official...probably 4 gigs vram though. And pretty lights on it.

Here it is on EVGA's site: EVGA - Articles - EVGA GeForce GTX 980 K|NGP|N Classified Coming Soon

This monitor is interesting though especially those who currently use mutliple monitors for gaming: Acer Predator XR341CK 34" Curved Gaming Screen with G-sync

I was going to get the regular Classified 980 but I think it would be wasted on me, I have the 770 Classified and I havent tried overclocking or anything, its probably my system atm but those higher spec cards are usually aimed at overclockers, I might go for a 980 SSC at the most and save some money
besides the Classified is 599 pounds so this would be a little higher I suspect

That card looks insane. Do any of you guys have custom water blocks set up for your GPUs?

I plan on upgrading my 780 later in the year. Hopefully, there'll be some good sales around for a 980 come Black Friday.

Did EVGA sort out the problems with their 980? Cooler not aligning properly if I remember correctly. I still have an EVGA 680SC that I'm looking to upgrade soon, I still like the Gigabyte card for this current gen.

Yeah gotta have water or liquid nitrogen for the Kingpins to really shine. I really want to move to open loop water soon but want to get another mobo first since I want to upgrade that this year.

EVGA is announcing what looks like a closed water cooler for the 980 reference design GPU's on february 1st too...might take a look at those.

Started to properly play Elite dangerous finally.... the Hyper space (FTL?) effects are so cool!! With my trackIR 5 plugged in allowing me to look around it is almost trippy.

weird the fan makes noise then stop then make noise again but not as loud.

and man, those gpu are mad, using liquid nitrogen now?

Yeah, the 900 series cards are more resilient to heat than the previous generations, and the fans only kick in when they have to.

Wow, $3.20AU. Done deal.

How many rubles a month do you pay for your internet plan?

*edit* ok, 80% off, would be great if I didn't already have them. I should really just wait for these deals.

Yep, I've been good lately. Last game I bought in the first week was Alien Isolation. I'm gonna play the waiting game in the future, not the paying game.

just bought an asus rog g20 gaming computer from bestbuy. i7, 16gb ram, 2tb hdd, dual video cards. 8m color led panels. the thing runs so fast, i love it already. just gotta get some games now.
