I'm following Star Citizen, but don't feel I can spend money on it at this time. I'll wait for the finished product, and see how convinced I feel by then. While it promises a lot, I need to see it function before I'm convinced it will work. It seems almost too ambitious. I'm very curious.

Yeah, same here. It will be cheaper once released, the kind of money they are asking to get involved at these early stages is just too much for a casual gamer like myself. I have Elite and plenty of other titles to keep me tied over anyway.

Just bought 2 asus 27" mx279h frameless monitors and a bose companion 5 speaker system. Also bought a corsair k65 gaming keyboard w/ cherry red keys but undecided if i wanna open it, might return it. Out having dinner now, everything can wait til tomorrow to get set up i guess......

I've had a few of the corsair keyboards and love them to death. I had the k95 and it was beautiful! But I never used the extra keys so I sold it. I have the k70 currently with cherry red switches. I like them a lot, typing on a membrane key feels weird to me now. Their gaming mice are excellent also, I had the m60 and then the m65. Only looked elsewhere as I have large hands and needed something a bit larger. Settled on the Roccat kone xtd. I have mostly Crorsair hardware in my pc also, in my experience, their products and after care are of the highest quality.

yeah, i think im going to return the keyboard, i dont need it. im happy with my setup as is. i dont need a crazy gaming keyboard anyway.

Heres a pic of the stuff set up, not sure if the pic is all that good.

Try it before you return it and see if you still feel that way ;)

I haven't tried the 65, but I'm guessing it will be made to the same standard as the rest.

Its just shorter. I didnt need it and it was an impulse buy. All i really wanted was the screens and the sound. Been eyeing the keyboard, didnt HAVE to have it.

Yeah, nobody "needs" a mech keyboard lol, but once you've got one, you won't ever want to be without it again.

I concur....once you use mech for a bit it's mech or nothing. It's like sex on your fingers.

I'm extremely happy with my Razer Black Widow Ultimate (2014). It's really, really good. Highly recommendable.

Same one I have...had to uninstall the software though because it was causing problems but other than that, good keyboard. I want to get another one just to use another brand but I can't justify it. :)

I've had one of the higher end Corsair boards as well, but I sold it. But that was more because of me getting a break from gaming. This one, however, just amazes me much more. It is beautiful, and the feel of quality is awesome. It's so heavy! :)

:lol I laughed... But then couldn't think of a better description.

I can't get into the Razer stuff myself, they have the best branding in the business for sure, but product wise. I had the Deathadder 2013, it only lasted a few months. Real nice looking mouse with a very decent sensor, but the build quality can only be described as atrocious, especially when you consider the prices they charge and the quality of some of their competitors products.

So, I'm getting a second GTX 780 to run in SLI with my current Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II OC card. I just figured, why the heck not. I don't play on going beyond 1080p for quite some time (aside from some DSR usage), and having two 780s should perform substantially better than a single GTX 980.

But, the only thing that's concerning, is the power draw from two cards. I have a 700 W PSU (80 Plus Certified) with 25 A on each of the 12 V rails. I'm wondering if it'll be enough for now. Which leads to a question... for you guys with SLI setups, how much power does your entire system draw?
