Sweet lord :horror

Did you screw it in the two holes to the rear of the case?

Nah, I was just using one hole. But, the bending actually starts at the middle and gets progressively worse at the end of the card (away from the rear). It's just like a cantilever beam. I've heard the Asus boards are really problematic with this. The cooler is very heavy, maybe they should have added a second aluminum plate for stability.

i dont even know what the inside of my gaming pc looks like............

I'm surprised, I thought you would have opened it up already to see how the LEDs work :lol.

Ah, alright. But, it's always good to open up your case at least once a week for some routine cleaning with canned air and microfiber clothes. Dust buildup can get really annoying and make your system hotter if you let it stay too long without maintenance.

By the way, if any of you guys are interested, Newegg has a sale on Fractal Design R4 cases. I just picked one up to replace my crappy Coolermaster Elite 431 Plus.

Good advice.... I do it every second day but I'm nuts so :lol
Happy Birthday Solidus :duff :fest

Thanks man! I had PC issues all throughout my birthday... :lol. One thing I've learned, is that resetting the CMOS settings on a MSI motherboard is very, very scary.

I'm never buying a MSI board again. I don't even trust it enough, to increase the voltage on my i5 3570k.

Add me on the Rockstar Social Club for GTA V multiplayer. Username is TekkamanRain :duff.

Yeah, I had an MSI board, wasn't fun having it.

I have a marvel vs capcom tournament edition fightstick (xbox 360) and can't really get it to run on my PC (am going to try an Mayflash adapter) but it got me to wondering are there any good or any anyone would recommend, fighting game style joystick/fightsticks out for the PC that work well out of the box?

Edit: Finally found a video that showed a way to get the fightstick I have to work. Sweet!

Titan x..... It's coming. I said to myself, **** it.

I have a 30 inch 2560x1600 monitor and games play like crap with a 970. I want to max it all out at my resolution and still be able to 3 years from now. I understand all the critics against it, but I think whenever you go able a certain threshold, you get less bang for your buck. I want the v ram for the future and am sick of always waiting until the next better generation ;)

I'll let you all know how it is!

Tiger Direct had a bunch of sales this week and I just bought the parts for a budget PC. Just thought that I'd share what I purchased:

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K (unlocked)
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 Intel Z77 Socket Motherboard
Hard Drive: Toshiba 2TB 7200rpm 3.5" SATA HDD
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1GB GDDR5 PCIe
Memory: Kingston 4 GB x 2, 1600 MHz DDR 3 RAM
Case: Cooler Master Elite 431+ Mid Tower
Extra fan: Kingwin 120mm Long Life Bearing Case Fan (this was free after a rebate :lol)

The next thing, is finding a cheap price on Windows 7...

So, after two years, I'm really happy with the build I have now :lol. I've upgraded practically everything except for the MSI motherboard, i5 3570K processor, and HDD. So, as of right now...

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K
CPU cooling: Corsair H55
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 Intel Z77 Socket Motherboard
HDD: Toshiba 2TB 7200rpm 3.5" SATA HDD
SSD: Kingston V300 128 GB
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 SC + Asus GTX 780 DCU II OC in SLI
Memory: Kingston 2 x 8 GB, 1600 MHz DDR 3 SD RAM
Case: Fractal Design Define R4
Case Fans: 3 Aerocool Shark 140mm fans (intake), 2 Fractal Design 140mm silent fans (exhaust), 1 Corsair 120mm fan (intake).
PSU: Seasonic M12II Evo 80 Plus Bronze

I think my i5 3570K should be good for at least a few more years, as it doesn't appear to bottleneck my GPUs, and it's still a very good performing quad-core processor. But, I'll be upgrading my 780s next year when the new Pascal GPUs are released.

It's here!!! It's so beautiful. 100fps in everything on max settings in 2560x1600.
Was expensive as **** but we are all enthusiasts and spend hundreds on statues already. I'm on my pc 75% of my life, so I might as well max it out :)
I had a 970 and felt very underwhelmed coming from a 760. This costs 3 times more but I can tell the difference. I never had a 980 so I can't speak to it, but I can fully recommend the titan x if you have the money. I I do wish there was a better cooler on it though. Mine runs at 83~ at full load during benchmarking.

Wow, titan X? One card? Sounds epic, sir. Congratulations. What games are you playing on it? Are you maxing out on GFX settings too?
