Alienware is way over priced.

I wanted the new, best $800 graphics card in my new rig. Newegg didnt even have it in stock. I priced a system there, and on Alienware and ended up getting it for 100 dollars more than I could have built myself... had newegg even had the card. This was with a coupon for a free graphics upgrade up to 300 bucks.

Anyway I could have saved 100 bucks...if they had the card, if I felt like assembling myself, if I felt like mailing in rebates and getting my money back over the course of 6-8 weeks. :slap

But see, if you build yourself you get a better warranty deal without paying extra--plus with some places you void your warranty if you upgrade any parts yourself. And if there's an issue with a part you wouldn't have to take the whole computer in.

I voted Mac, BUT 3 months ago the graphics card on my Mac blew up therefore it did not start, after arguing with APPLE about the warranty that had expired , they fixed it at no cost.......ironically it was the APPLE'S selling point of an ultimate graphics card that persuaded me to buy it!!!:gah:

we should start another thread of APPLE versus BLACKBERRY....lol

That post was useless. Don't be one of those people.

Multi don't give a damn, give a damn.

Sorry guys, it's just a pet peeve of mine.

If I'm being honest I do make a couple posts/quotes in a row every once in a while if I'm feeling lazy, but some people seem to do it on a fairly regular basis. Not sure why. I guess it does pad your post count...

I wont' bring it up again. :peace

I don't care about padding my post count, but thanks for assuming. At the end of the day I am not thinking... . o O (WOW! I am at 11,000 posts on the Freaks forum!)

heh :peace

Word. That's the way I like it to look :lecture Sexy knows me to well!!!!

Yeah I always went crazy with zip ties and tying up the interior cables. Nothing worse than a crazy bird's nest of cables in the case. It not only looks like garbage, but if you need to open it up for upgrades/swapping you have to fish through them in the process.

I do it alot. Sometimes because I'm reading through a huge thread and didn't realize that I'd be commenting on so many posts. I do try to do it, but......it usually doesn't work out for me. :D

On the multi quote note.... why do people quote when they are responding to the very last post? It's right there, directly above your reply....

Because everybody has different settings for when there is a page break in a thread. So you could reply to a post, and think it's right underneath the post you're responding to, but it could also end up on another page altogether.

Another reason is because it takes time write out a post. By the time a user is done writing up their helpful and/or well thought out post, 30 or 40 new posts containing nothing but smilies or pictures of cats will have appeared underneath the post they were responding to.
