PC vs Mac threads always end up bad.
~~And referring to Apple computers you only capitalize the M. MAC is Media Access Control iirc.
Well I can't change it now, so excuuuuse me!!!
Besides I like the symmetry of it the way it is!

Don't you have video games to play?
depends in your interests.
if you're into art/music, definitely get a mac.
if you're into the internet/games definitely pc.
If you are just using it mostly for email/internet and office stuff, I say PC all the way...plus they are less expensive. And for all those people who say PC's get viruses - I've had my laptop for 7 years and haven't gotten one yet. *knock on wood* and I have had no problems - though it's time for me to upgrade and get a new one. My boss's Power Book G4 on the other hand has had to have the hard drive replaced 3 times in 5 years.
I will tell you this. I have been a PC user for years. Went through tons. I bought my first iMac early last year. It works just like it did the first day I opened the package. No virus scans, no spyware searches, no defragging, nothing. I use it every day and it just WORKS. What else needs to be said? Plus it's a simple setup. See picture. This is it man! One cord hooked up to a wifi connection that is hidden. Can't beat that.
Well all my gaming is on the Ps3. My wife is a graphic designer and I am a hobbiest music composer who uses programs like Reason and Q-Base so yeah...
Actually the reason I need to do something about my current PC is that it seems to be full of viruses! I haven't been able to use any search engines for about a month, because they all crash my internet as soon as I click a link, and sometimes even just entering a search!
Dude, that picture alone builds a very strong case for Mac!
PC my whole life, never had a single virus.
You guys need to be more careful with your porn gathering.
No, never, my friend has encouraged me to do defrags once in a while but I never have needed to.
I can still run all my games on maxed out video settings and have no slow down of frame rate or anything. It still loads up to windows as quickly as the day I got it and everything.
I own a powerbook and two PC desktops. I don't play favorites, though I don't like the snobby attitude from a lot of Mac owners. It's like a lot of them are wearing invisible member's jackets.
I'm a Mac user and don't get the snobby attitude some owners have either. Just remember, we're not all like that.
Uh oh ..............
Why can't I see your pics?
Wait, it says "Bandwidth Exceeded. Upgrade to Pro today."
I'm at work.
Fail!
I'm a PC. I use a Mac at work and just find it more troublesome for simple tasks like trying to save items to a certain folder, etc. I'm always having trouble opening up Microsoft office files - have to keep downloading updates so I can properly convert them. The MacBook has this annoying feature where if you slide your fingers on the pad it will either zoom in or out on whatever you are viewing. Very frustrating since I use the pad to scroll down and then end up zooming stuff. It's a feature that I have yet been able to disable.

Screw Macs and PCs. Anybody who is ANYBODY uses a Commodore 64.
Mine's in the attic as well as the three boxes of games, printer, and modem for it.
