Just finished the show, loved it can’t wait for S2.

Srsly. Has HT announced any DC properties recently besides the new Batman? Anyone from the recent Suicide Squad? Flash? Black Adam? Doctor Fate?

As for the finale. It was as expected, it rocked. Eagly with the helmet, the other helmet just floating away, the human torpedo. And of course the fish bit lol. Man, this show was just so well done and fun. Raunchy and silly at times, but it that humor never felt forced. Sad is already over but look forward to season 2.

Can’t wait for Season 2. This is a top 3 superhero/comic book series imo.

And the DCU is already a mess.

James Gunn confirms that Peacemaker is canon, apart from the end scene with the Justice League.

But if Peacemaker is canon the The Suicide Squad is canon.

If The Suicide Squad is canon then Suicide Squad 2016 is canon.

If Suicide Squad 2016 is canon then Batman v Superman is canon.

If Batman v Superman is canon then Wonder Woman is canon.

If those are all canon then Justice League is canon.

So then the end scene with the Justice League in Peacemaker is, in fact, canon.

The only way a new U works is a full and complete reset. You can't pick and choose, as stated, since it just creates problems. And trying to use the multiverse as an explanation is a tiring trope now. It's more cringe than even time travel. He can't let this go cause wifey is in it. No more nookie for him if he fires her (although he'll just put her in his next 10 productions).

I surprisingly loved this show. I don't want it to end either. But no reason it can't just exist as it's own thing. Like Bats & Penguin in their stuff.

Gunn is now just another Hollywood narcissistic creator. He actually thinks this crap will be the superior product to the failed Snyderverse. I mean, who starts off with an animated movie, and Creature Commando's non the less?? Due to the GOTG success, he probably thinks he can turn anything into a hit.

And even Creature Commandos is set after S1 of Peacemaker, Weasel is in it, the same Amanda Waller is in it, Rick Flag Jr is dead (as he died in The Suicide Squad).

This is never going to make sense.
