While yes, it is sick to tell teens they look ugly if they do not conform to an unrealistic and uanttainable image, it is equally sick to make it illegal for those companies to do so.
Though I guess it doesn't matter either way, as online petitons are the adult equivilant of writing to Santa Clause.

The entertainment industry should ban companies from hiring good looking and attractive looking people who won the genetic lottery...I mean, what kind of negative and depressing message are we sending to some of these young ones who will never be good looking because they were born unattractive?
We should consider the feelings of unattractive people. They are also consumers.
It's really not their fault they are born ugly. If you're fat it's not your fault...you were just unfortunate to be born with the genetic predisposition towards having an insatiable appetite for eating. And besides, it isn't called fat. It is called being shapely and having curves.

So, eating healthy and exercizing is basically a hoax? We should just feel sorry for the poor fat people because they just can't lose it due to genetics?
My mother, grand mother, uncles, aunt, father..they're all over weight.
They eat a lot of sugary and salty food..and NEVER work out. That's what I have always called "lazy". But it's not? It's actually a genetic predisposition? They literally can't help but to eat more and more? It's like a drug, an addiction? I'm going to have to call the hospital after I post this..see if I can get them all into some rehabilitation center.
I really think that at some point, it's just greed. Not genetics, not some disease...just humans being selfish and lazy.

The world, happiness, success, love are not meant only for attractive people. Opposing laws like this is not an expression of contempt for the existence of those who would be considered unattractive if they were measured by the standards of magazine ad 'beauty'.
What's really sad is that people have let themselves be owned by standards that aren't important. If people need the government to save them from that...
