@robbie - you didn't happen to take pictures of the armature when you look took it apart, did you? I have been sooo curious how they did it at such a small scale and I cannot feel any sharp joints on the body.

I think this is high grade silicone. It actually feels more softer than dragonskin silicone from Smooth-on.

I have their Lady Action and the joints are supper stiff. Kinda makes you feel like you are gonna break it. Also with the seamless, it can be kind of hard to tell where the joint is and where you can apply pressure.

That was made with the version 4.0 body, which still had the plastic skeleton. You should try the new stainless steel versions. Those are easy to pose and can get into just about any pose you can think of. Aside from the crappy floppy foot issue, those things are damn near perfect.

Haha, exactly, although I immediately thought Frank Poole from 2001 when I saw Gary Lockwood in this sculpt. :wink1:

I've got the 2001 figs on PO. The Dullea and Lockwood sculpts have been a concern but maybe they've been improved especially if folks see the likeness in an unpainted generic. The head does look big or the body is short. I'm guessing the former. Phicen female bodies are roughly HT size so would think they'd follow suit with the males. The too broad shoulder are the main concern to me. Depending on the height the only actor/character I've been able to visualize for this is Stallone as Rocky. Van Damme is a good suggestion, but his movies aren't something I'd collect. But of course you can make it do a chinese split, so maybe if there's a good HS out there of a young JCVD it might be worth it. It's too thin for Schwarzenegger and too big and buff for Pitt as Achilles (and again the shoulders). May work nicely for some of the exposed arm figures. I would like to see a line like this developed that would match up to the Truetypes and include AA skin tones.

Perfect for anyone who wants to do a "New Arrival" Terminator.
i have sitting arrival terminators and terminators robbing their first victims for clothes. that figure would be really a great upgrade... but there will be great problems:
1) body doesn't match Schwarzenegger
2) there will be a definite color difference between body & head.
:(
still must give a try to check that i'm wrong at least in some of those points.
well, when a terminator sits just after the chrono sphere disappearing, his torso is not fully seen, and this figure will at least be able to sit, unlike all HT terminator bodies. but rubber can just tear in such extreme pose.

Standing about 29cm
hmmm, just measured my terminators. the size fits or is even more. it might just look bulky enough to match the overall HT terminator body. well, definitely must try.
my poor wallet.

Hmmm Phicen has posted photos of this on Facebook. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood but now they are saying he doesn't come with the head sculpt even though they said it would. Also I'm not a huge fan of the colour, wish he was more tan. And it seems to have lost some of the muscle definition in the abs and obliques. It would be nice to see some more photos without them covering have the body in weird fabric. Anyways after I get some sleep maybe I'll be in a better mood about it.

Ok found some full body shots shared on TSN figures on Facebook, muscle tone is good but the figure is really short! I don't get it. Phicen female figures are usually quite tall. I wouldn't mind this being so short if they were also releasing a tall figure, that way we would have options. Seems like an odd choice to make him below the average height of a 1/6 scale figure...everything else looks good though.

could you share photos here please?

thanks.
damn, that's not cool. luckily i won't have to buy 4 of them anymore :)

I don't think it looks all that bad proportionally, but I'm sure many of us had the same idea and 5'8.5" doesn't cut it for Arnie. Might be able to hide some of that, along with the missing amenities, by posing in the crouched arrival stance. Unless they did use the same skeleton as the female figure, I don't get the shorter stature. What is it made for......a comic version Wolverine?

When they say standing at 29cm tall is that with or without the head? My Chris Redfield body is 28cm without the head and 29 1/2cm with a head on it. If the phicen is 29cm without a head I'm happy with that. I can always add ankle extenders that will be hidden by boots. Posed on his own I think it will look fine.
Also I noticed in the instruction booklet on Kit Chen's review it says "more models coming - stay tuned please". That gives me hope that they will soon be releasing different skin tones and MAYBE other heights...

Somebody on OSW said they saw the three 'hidden gifts' on an Ebay listing.

Never look a gift horse in the mouth...
