Pick one: TDKR/MOS/ASM2

Hey, I said how I liked Spider-Man in TASM2. Never bashed him in my review/initial reaction.

The thread poll is "which polarizing movie is your favorite", not, which character is your favorite. If it was, I'd choose Spider-Man. But it's the movies bro, so, I don't have a favorite, they're all bad and are part of a franchise that have better films.


Disclaimer:

If Iron Man 3 were listed on there, I'd actually pick it as my favorite of the three. No lie. The Mandarin made me lol, hard. The tone of the film was pitch perfect for a summer blockbuster, the soundtrack was great and there was no denying Tony Stark's charisma, even if he was being a ***** ass wuss.

Other polarizing comic book flicks I'd reluctantly put above those 3 include,

- Spider-Man 3
- Batman Forever

Exactly. And ASM2 is the *movie* that got Spidey right. If you want to watch the movie that finally gave us a live-action Spider-Man from the comics then you go to ASM2. If I want to watch a movie that did not get Spidey right but was just awesome in it's own right well then I guess I can choose Unforgiven or something. If some other sequel keeps Spidey just as good as he was in ASM2 (and puts him through the ringer the way this film did) AND is also awesome in all other areas (like a Spidey version of TWS) then ASM2 will certainly get trumped. Until then it's the one to beat.

Other polarizing comic book flicks I'd put above those 3 include,

SM3 and BF above TDKR and MOS. Man you must really like SM3. Not because of BF, that one's always been a guilty pleasure of mine but SM3 is just bad. Terrible love triangle, terrible Spider-Man characterization, villain that ruins the Ben Parker "mythos," terrible secondary villain, ending that doesn't resolve Peter and MJ after three freaking movies, etc. To put that above ASM2, for shame.

Anyway, we'll always have Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier kid,

We can atleast agree that those are great stuff (unless you want to suddenly be a Spidey cheerleader).

This was a very difficult choice for me. I Love MOS and I like Rises, I was going to go with MOS because of that awesome final battle,

but I chose Rises because of this.....

I chose asm2 cuz its spiderman and I hated how they left out the joker in rises. not even a mention but im done thinking about that movie, havent seen it since the theater. Could give a million reasons why I didnt like it but its whateve now.
