Piecing together a Matrix Neo

Here's the recipe I'm currently using/planning on:

Body: TrueType Advanced (although a lot here are using the narrow shoulder version)
Pants: Hot Toys Sarah Connor (though the ones in my shots a couple of posts above are different ones, the SC ones are still in the mail)

Coat: Triad Toys Knight Runner 2.0 male (currently not available)
Head: Headplay Keanu Reeves head (sunohc is making his own version too, Zkulptor as well probably)
Boots: here https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93314 (I know you've already signed up for them, but perhaps someone else will find this useful as well)
Sunglasses: here https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93314 (although my list is currently closed; some others have also made their own, or used the ones from the Medicom or Gentle Giant bust Neo)
Harness/belts/holsters: Currently nobody is offering a commission, all made so far have been custom made (I did read somewhere that a member is currently making multiples to sell, but I can't find the post right now) edit: just found the post, apparently stevostoys is currently making some to sell, though they are not being offered yet

Thanks man! The shoulder rig was made from the harnesses that usswanker linked below, along with a fabric harness I got off ebay. The gun holster part is from the Heroic "face" figure.

And special thanks to you for the tips on making the repelling harness!

I was looking on ebay for some possibilities, but I haven't found anything I think I love yet. I actually was thinking I'm going to buy some pleather fabric and make them myself. I've just been lazy lately and haven't built the harness yet.

Making it from scratch would be cool, but those 3 harness really give you pretty much everything you need so it's not too tough. Damn yard work!

Not yard work exactly. Been building a japanese garden/3 level patio since last May. Finishing up the last section now that spring has kinda finally showed its face here. 85% completed.

Yeah to be honest that's the way to go. Make your own, only one guy here who I believe has the best Neo custom... T800, really got the holsters accurate. He cut them himself,. I made my own last night out of a plastic covering from a binder. The holster/ harness is by far the hardest thing to make for this bash. I've hated the process so far

Anyway no one sixth Holsters on the market are accurate, if you look at pics the Holsters are actually cut In the center' it has a strip at the bottom and top with a clasp strap at the top

Yea I agree nothing is accurate out there to purchase for the bash, so hand made is the only way to go. I'd like to see what you did there Ray.
