I'd be relieved if there's a plot point to them that's explained, I woudl hate for it to just be a blatant continuity error.

Definitely blonde in the Comic Con video.
I noticed the blonde strands too, but I didn't really think of them having any significance. It's a good possibility though. I'm really intrigued by the movie and very hopeful its as good as the first.

You notice they even left off the charm on the headband since it got burnt up with the rest of the Bretheren's pieces of eight? Nice little detail (or lack thereof) there.
