It all depends if what made the first films so enjoyable is still there I think. If it has that power it can go on and on..
I just hope they plan the stories out better.

Yes, but more so that they were working on the story for 3 while shooting. If they're smart, they'll actually plan out the entire story of both first and do a solid work, and if there's any conneciton to Stranger Tides, make that work too.
LOTR was shot that way and not affected, but figuring out a film while making it isn't the best way to do things. It's one thing to make small edits as you go along when you realize things aren't coming out as you thought when you put them on paper, but to not know where all of the story is going can be confusing.

I know the cursed skeletons in the first one was unrealistic but it worked for me. What made 3 not so great for me was Calypso and all the bring Jack back from the dead junk... it was just too far out there. I liked everything else about it though. I just hope 4 is a little more "realistic."
Well, if the list from his SDCC speech is legit, there'll be zombies for some sort and mermaids.

Oh yeah.. I forgot about that. As long as its played like it was in Pearl it should be ok.
I would think they would be more of a voodoo zombie than the walking dead type. And zombies were basically what the skeletons were in the first one. But Mermaids could be interesting.

I'm very impressed and excited. I really want to know what Barbossa's doing in royal garbs though, and hope he at least makes an appearance in his usual costume at some point, because if not, and HT only does POTC 4 figures, once again we miss out on Barbossa.

more 3D, BLAH, but besides that looks like it might be good. l dont see Depp signing on for a 5th and 6th though.
l really want to see a jack PF with the hat and long coat as well.

If it's filmed in 3D, i'm fine with it. Converted...____ that nonsense.
Well, even though it's going to be 3D, the filming we saw in there looks like any of the other Pirates films, so if all they do is bring an Avatar style 3D effect to the traditional pirate style, I'm fine with that, could be cool to feel like you're in the scene.
