I saw some scenes on ET last night. More tonight.

Sparrow riding atop a carriage. Sparrow saying we're looking for the fountain of youth. Pirates fighting. Angelica mumbling something in heavy spanish accent. Sparrow getting his jaw slashed open to reveal a metal skull...

That last line is a lie, for Maulfan.

Yep, lots more tonight on ET. They showed a surprising amount. Evil man-eating mermaids. Lots of Blackbeard (looks alot ike Barbossa). Barbossa himself in Naval gear speaking about evil mermaids. Gibbs.

Happy that Barbossa is in it but really like his OLD. I'd like a Hot Toys from the first 3 films so my collection is more or less complete.

Sadly, I don't think Barbossa will show up in his Pirate fatigues, so, to pour salt in the wound, Hot Toys will make a figure in his new costume so we finally get Barbossa and it's a useless costume.

Can't wait, but hope its good. Budget does actually look a tad less, but we better get a Barbossa finally from Hot Toys!!!

....but if its solely in that costume, forget it. Sorry, I think its awful. Why change it? Loved his original look. Maybe include the costume with him, like they did with the T-1000, but I want my pirate Barbossa with JACK THE MONKEY!!! Hot Toys has to do one no matter what

Well the majority of Hot Toys Pirates we have is from the third film and they're all in fighting gear. We have Jack, Davy Jones, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann. Of all the major players from the 3rd film, it's Barbossa we're still missing.


I've always wanted to recreate this lineup:

In addition to the aforementioned, Barbossa, Blackbeard, and Angelica. I hope the new movie also brings us a Hot Toys Gibbs and Teague. Though my dream would be for them to go back and give us Maccus, Palifico, and crew.
