I don't know if I'll buy a 1/6 Captain Crunch Barbossa. I'll have to see the movie before I make the decision on that one. I will definitely be getting DX Jack and the Blackbeard, though.

I like Barbossa's new look, especially the peg leg.

No interest in 1/6 Barbossa though, only Jack and mostly Blackbeard. If they don't make Ian McShane it's going to be criminal.

So from the sounds of it each Pirates film starting with this one will all have separate stories. So I wonder if Black Beard will be in these sequels or not?

And I think he'll be bad *** as well!

I would take Blackbeard and both versions of Barbossa (Pirate and HMS Navy). Its just too bad IF we get a Barbossa it would most likely only be the Navy version instead of the classic pirate we all know and love. He better come with Jack the Monkey at least

I don't know about that, unless people are willing to sacrifice accuracy, finding a tailor with close to right materials and making the outfit as authentic as possible will like cost hundreds.

I like Barbossa and want a pirate version, but not for $400+.

Unless somehow they work out a licensing deal for the whole franchise, then they could do a DX Barbossa with both outfits. While Barbossa doesn't need to be DX, I think it's the only way we could get parts for multiple movies, if it were just regular MMS I would think everything in the box would have to be in the movie it's under, where a DX could just be a generic Pirates of the Caribbean Barbossa with no specification for a movie it's from.

I heard that these next three films are going to be stand alone stories, so that got me thinking I wouldnt mind seeing one of those being a prequel to the original CotBP. And if that were ever come to be then we could hopefully get a Pirate attire Barbossa, but thats just me fantasizing.

I suppose with his costume, they could make a skeletal underbody and just have alternate necks and heads and a torn costume for skeleton Barbossa, and alternate hands of course.
