I'm pretty set in my mind set, I don't like the peg leg, it's a trademark of pirates but this is the first we're seeing it in these movies and it just doesn't look good to me.

I HATE the peg leg. Not only does it look horrible on Barbossa, but you know how handicapped one becomes with only 1 leg? In real life, I mean. Kiss all your sword fighting days good bye. I understand Davy Jones had a crab/peg-like leg and was able to fight fine, but he was always very super natural to begin with. And from what I understand

Barbossa fights and kills Blackbeard while only having one leg as well, but still....it looks ridiculous! IMO.

Sucks, I'd rather have Barbossa or Blackbeard, not interested in another Jack, DX will be enough for me. Also the chair gimmick is getting real old fast, how many figures do they think I want sitting down?

What is the sense of redoing cannibal Jack, of course. I might get the whole thing, or might just get the chair from TA or something, I've always wish'd they'd made his throne because the current figure seems a bit lame to me standing up.

HT did releases some promo material a while back saying that chairs were going to be something of a theme for the next little while. I'm not interested in another Jack either, but I personally wouldn't mind a few more figures I can pose sitting down rather than standing up. Depends on the character though of course - I can't imagine posing Don Vito standing up for example (except maybe if he's got one hand on his chair).

Barbossa has got to be on the cards, surely...

If they are doing another Cannibal Jack, I would take it that the other films are fair game too, which would mean we could get a classic Barbossa that we've all wanted.

That's a head-scratcher... another cannibal Jack?

I'd really rather see a COTBP Jack with the variance in outfit and as his prop piece: a sunken mast to ride into port.

I'd also love a skeleton Jack! Now that would be awesome. Maybe just a half face and one boney arm and leg -- kind of split down the middle.

But another cannibal? Why? Just for the chair?

Yup, this and Sweeney are pretty much elaborate ways to sell us doll furniture.

It does look bad for announcements like a BD T-800 and T1 Police Shootout 800 if were getting the same character this close.

I think its fantastic they re-do Cannibal Jack. Since I missed out on him the first go. Count me in this time 'round!

Blackbeard, Barbossa and Angelica are all surely to come. HT seems pretty psyched about this license. So Im sure we will see at least those three in addition to more Sparrows.

HT's may ostracize some of their fan-base if they keep revisiting old releases. (although many new-to-HT will be pleased)
