It does, and it has me wondering, would they put out a figure with the head done so his eyes are closed, sure it might look cool on the throne like that, but I don't know, I think if so, the appeal would be more to folks with the original cannibal jack than new customers, and it's not like a simple repaint would change the head, the eyes wouldn't quite look right painted open over his eyelids.
I'd be curious if they worked a PERS type system to flip his eyes from closed and painted to open and actual eyes. I just care about the cannibal throne, the figure's secondary.
I really want Davy Jones. I almost bought the existing version so many times, but it just looks so plasticy.
That would be my no1 vote, although I have a feeling its gonna be Depp, Depp and more Depp.
Davy's organ woudl only look good if they did the entire structure, which someone did at a convention as a custom piece, it was like 3 feet tall, way too big.
I don't see them redoing past figures other than Jack because he's like Ledger Joker and will sell no matter, otherwise, they might redo characters and give us other Will and Elizabeth figures, but I don't see remakes of what we've got coming.
I want this Elizabeth
Or this one with the option to have her in the whit underdress like when she and Jack are marooned.
I actually like Will's look in 3 most of all the movies so I'm set with a Will Turner.
I didnt realize it was that tall. Never mind then lol.
Man I'd love to see a DMC Will Turner - when he boarded the 'Dutchman' and gutted that crewman, then lit his sword on fire, he was badass.
I had no idea Davy Jones had such an impressive organ.
The organ itself would be about the same height as a figure, but I just don't think it'd be as interesting out of context from the rest of teh ship around it. The guy who built the diorama did the whole wall of the Dutchmant the organ is against and it looked great.
Here's the dio from the HT 10th anniversary show.
Pictures dont do DJ justice. I was much more impressed with him after I had him in hand.
