Which story did you like more?
Lower edition size. There are fewer King Hulks than G Hulks.
I just got this BEAST yesterday and all I can say is HOLY ****!!!! 
There is just so much AWESOMENESS to this piece, from the size, sculpt, paint work and just the overall look. It makes everything in the room seem small.
Also I find the shield really doesn't cover it up like you think it would from seeing the pictures, unless you stand where the shield is your focal point. I have it displayed so you can walk around it and view it from all angles to appreciate the total piece.
As far as this vs King Hulk, buy both or just pick which one you like the best.

I only really got to read until the Gladiator hulk part, but that was awhile ago and i hardly remember it.
ok thanks just checked, Gladiator hulk seems have twice the edition size as King hulk. That might make a difference but i'm still not sure if its a deal breaker for me. Do you think King hulk would be worth more in the future because of the ES.
Honestly, since K Hulk is a variant of G Hulk, I don't think there will be much of a difference in aftermarket prices. Look at the Hulk COMs, 3 statues based off the same sculpt and all of them are pretty close in aftermarket prices. I would just buy the one I think looks best. May I ask if you are looking to pick one of these up just to have a Hulk in your collection? If you don't remember the story line, it must not have left a big impression on you. That's a lot of $$$$ to drop on a piece if it has no real meaning for you. You might be better off just waiting until SSC releases another Hulk PF. It's only a matter of time until they do.
I LOVED the planet Hulk storyline. If I had to pick between the 2, I'd take the G Hulk PF. However, I only have room in my collection for one Hulk PF. I'm waiting for a modern green raging Hulk PF. I'm sure that SSC will get around to making one eventually. For me, that PF is worth waiting for.

I don't read graphic novels/comics... Bought G because he looks so cool.
If you have the room to buy whatever you like, that's not a problem. I don't think that's the case for most of us. I think we all start out buying whatever looks cool or is hot. However, sooner or later, something happens to force most of us to truly refocus our collections. Space constraints or funds getting tight usually is what forces the issue for most of us.
That said, G Hulk ROCKS! It's a great statue. It looks fantastic in any collection. However, I only have room for one 1/4 scale Hulk in my collection. Whichever company can give me a kick ass raging green modern Hulk...gets my money. It wasn't easy for me to pass on G Hulk, but lack room and $$$ keep me on a pretty tight leash. The ONLY PF I have on PO that I'm on the fence about is Lobo. I was a HUGE Lobo fan back in the day and that PF looks outrageously good. However, he may just get cut because he doesn't really fit into the theme of my DC collection. There's no NRD on him so whether I keep him or not will be a last minute decision. Other than Lobo, I've been pretty good about buying pieces that are on my list and not straying from it. But hey, how peeps spend their money is up to each collector. Whatever works for them, works for me. Enjoy that G Hulk. He's a BEAST and looks phenomenal.

I have both... And while I love the Planet Hulk storyline and think Gladiator Hulk looks great.. King Hulk IMO is a much better looking piece. It just has better presence and is a real stunner. Go King or go Home
You can't really say one is better than the other, because it's the same statue. It more comes down to what outfit/look you like. Or is it the shield blocking certain angles versus Hulk wearing a tiara? That picture Jaws took of G-Hulks head on King Hulk looked great! I just wished they made one statue and made the EX with the switch out King Hulk stuff. For me with Hulk statues overall it comes down to the face, most look like he has too much of a Frankenstein look. This one, King, Red Hulk and Ruffalo have the best face sculpts imho. I've been waiting for one to come out with a pose like Lou did on the TV show all the time when he would flex his chest and growl at what he was pissed at.

Saying one is better then the other just comes down to opinion... Probably better to say "Which one do you prefer?" In which case I say.... I really prefer King Hulk Tiara and all
Which I should stress that those who don't like the Tiara may very well have no issues with it in person... I think it looks far better and is not an issue.. My friend who hated it in the preview photos thought it looked good and was not an issue when he saw mine in person also.Having said that G Hulk is still great... I just prefer the Ax, the arm armor, the loin cloth, and the helmetless head portrait far more. I didn't think I would when it was first revealed... But this has much more presence and is the better looking statue IMO then the G Hulk. I almost sold G Hulk but decided it was too great to sell so I am not dissing it at all.

Hi, so i went to our local shop to check if they got there order of hulk in. I wasn't sure whether i would be getting Gladiator Hulk or King hulk. Unfortunately it seems like the choice was not in my hands because they ran out of King Hulks and their ordering is closed. Any way once i saw Gladiator Hulk all my disappointment disappeared and i liked it so much that i'm even seeing if i can get on list to get King Hulk as well (hoping someone backs out) . The Statue is just so impressive looking.
