I still have this pic saved, it's awesome, showed to my wife and she didn't understand why I was laughing so hard at it!

My budget is tight....PF only purchases for me UNLESS another quality diorama along the lines of Hulk vs Spidey or X-men vs Sentinel comes along.

Man, that piece does absolutely nothing for me. Way to busy, my eyes can't focus at anything spectacular that stands out , surfer looks very boring and the action they're performing just isn't captivating, no drama.

The weapons are bleh...and i'm sorry but his helmet is down right silly looking. He looks like he's from planet of the apes...ugh!

And what's up with the ridiculous "green scar" and "silver savage" names.

The Hulk vs Spiderman was an instant classic right from the first picture.

I'm sorry Sideshow but of all the different vs battles one could've chosen, this one just doesn't do it for me.

While Preordering the product can be half the fun it shouldn't be more exciting than the product itself yet i've been more entertained by the ongoing excitement here in this thread than the actual item itself.

Don't get me wrong, i'm happy for everyone that really wanted one and was able to secure it but for me...

Back to the drawing board Sideshow.

yeah each to his own, frankly anything hulk or spidey related is a must for me, i don't think anyone doesn't know who hulk is.
this baby will look great in my hulk/spidey displays, hulk spidey, hulk surfer (yeah different names) but still the meaning is there.

i ordered one. this will be my first dio. Planet Hulk is one of the stories that got me back into comics so is a must for me. ~~and it looks badass.

So in other words sideshow can't do no wrong ever?

The Hulk himself is a nice sculpt but everything else for me just doesn't connect.

Contrary to me not knowing the source, I do and i'm not a fan of it.

But since when did someone have to know the source to like and appreciate a 3 dimensional sculpt diorama or PF?

You mean it's impossible for someone who has never seen or ever heard of Hellboy to look at his PF and admire it enough for what it is that they end up buying it?

You mean it's impossible for someone who's never heard of Iron Man watching the movie and liking it?

Like i said, I'm happy for the ones who like it and were able to get it.

But to demand that someone gets banned because they have a difference of opinion transcends this hobby we all share into a very disturbing territory, one that I don't care to even begin comprehending.

good point pitu, just did the same. probably just gave up my first number 1, now i'll end up with #342.

Ordered. Best dio yet and I am not a fan of how Silver Surfer looks but this whole dio is so dynamic and I bet its going to be huge.

Sideshow does a lot of wrong. Just not in this case. I could care less if you dont like it or dont buy it, it's your money.

Nope,

now i'm going to buy it, take the Hulk from it (because I agree to whomever said that anything Hulk when mixed with polystone is rather cool) and throw the rest in the garbage and place the Hulk somewhere else...Don't know where yet but somewhere.

It's all good, I'm not here to derail or be the cause of any havoc or anarchy.
