Ouch, sensitive newb eh? :monkey1 No one started any diatribes during your constant thread derailments and advice posts.

Chill man; no cash, no worries -- just wait for what you really want.

:google

this is what someone gets for making a sensible post here?

My budget is tight....PF only purchases for me UNLESS another quality diorama along the lines of Hulk vs Spidey or X-men vs Sentinel comes along.

Man, that piece does absolutely nothing for me. Way to busy, my eyes can't focus at anything spectacular that stands out , surfer looks very boring and the action they're performing just isn't captivating, no drama.

The weapons are bleh...and i'm sorry but his helmet is down right silly looking. He looks like he's from planet of the apes...ugh!

And what's up with the ridiculous "green scar" and "silver savage" names.

The Hulk vs Spiderman was an instant classic right from the first picture.

I'm sorry Sideshow but of all the different vs battles one could've chosen, this one just doesn't do it for me.

While Preordering the product can be half the fun it shouldn't be more exciting than the product itself yet i've been more entertained by the ongoing excitement here in this thread than the actual item itself.

Don't get me wrong, i'm happy for everyone that really wanted one and was able to secure it but for me...

Back to the drawing board Sideshow.

Typical post of a guy who never reads comics but buy the statue anyway...

For someone who asked why the "Green Scar" and "Silver Savage," this seems like an odd statement; I assumed that you hadn't read PH.

That's fine, i'll give into that, I described it wrong...

I never allowed myself (and maybe shame on me) to get into that series even though I had heard about it and seen the pictures but I never went into it enough were I would've known the specific names.

I have heard many times that WWH is impressive, is this WWH or an extension of it?

But man i don't like those names, I keep picturing Planet of the Apes with his hat one....and the Tim burton Planet of the Apes no less....lol

ewww..

It's all good, i'm happy for everyone here...

I didn't mean to come off as a prick

Well, I beg to differ.

I'm 42 years old, i've been reading comics for a very long time, maybe longer than you, maybe not.

Just different strokes for different folks I guess.

Sheesh, i'm sorry that I didn't like the diorama.

Fine, it's the best thing since slice bread and SS was created.

It poops on Doom's and Thor's head.

There.

Ram Man vs. Skeletor! Fantastic! Just kidding, I love this piece! Best dio ever!

:lol:lol:lol good one, i think??

anyways i kinda like the pose in the number 8 picture, no helm, no weapon, cause hulk doesn't need no friggin weapon to kick ass. just something about that pic seems to say he's in battle kickin it good.

but it might not go with the comic though, yeah i haven't read it either, but i can't go without hulk.

I'll admit I've never read the Planet Hulk series either, but just the sheer hype from Shai these past months (and longer) was enough to intrigue me. It just so happens that this Sideshow diorama was the thing that finally pushed me to go out and get a copy. (That and the hundreds of awesome illustrations that have been posted this past week of Scar in his prime!) It's nice to know the history behind a diorama piece especially one as unique as Planet Hulk.

Either way, as we've said on here a million times. If you like a piece, get it. I personally am sticking with a PF Exclusive collection with exception of the Rider and a few 1:1 busts. Basically, what jye4ever was getting at in an earlier post. (The only way to go in my book. :rock)

But honestly, I just couldn't pass on this. I'll read the arch first and if I like it, I'll keep my pre-order. If not, than I'll cancel it and let the next person in line enjoy it.

Let's all be friends. Besides its THURSDAY!!! Not only is it Pre-Order night. It's a Spooktacular Pre-Order night!!! :banana

Even though I'm not a fan of the SS dio's, I must say this one looks great.(probably the best dio they have done IMO)

Where's the Low ES message already? It's been almost an hour.

SS, everyone's broke and can't spend $300 on a toy statue, might as well but the ES to 150.

True,
I don't get why everyone panics that they might miss out on a statue when the last time an item sold out in less than a few hours was Stealth IM.

yeah that's what i said earlier, how could they sell out a 1250 es in 8 mins??

But all this derailments and advise were on really good figures....

Nope,

now i'm going to buy it, take the Hulk from it (because I agree to whomever said that anything Hulk when mixed with polystone is rather cool) and throw the rest in the garbage and place the Hulk somewhere else...Don't know where yet but somewhere.

It's all good, I'm not here to derail or be the cause of any havoc or anarchy.

and yes, Thank you for not diatribing me by the way...

:devil I'm your huckleberry! :devil

Seriously the details of the sculpt is breathtaking....
