High ES or no, I honestly think this is the best Hulk sculpture yet and the most striking dio from any line.

And this is coming from someone who's seen the Hulk PF in person and has never bothered to read PH. This piece alone is simply phenomenal.

Start with Shai and move down the list :lol

Let's face it: Sideshow should know better than to buy into the hype. They know that people here don't flinch when it comes time to cancel something once it is no longer rare.

I agree, but at the same time I understand Sideshow's position as a business trying to sell as many pieces as possible. Unfortunately, it can take some of the fun out of collecting "elite" pieces.

I wonder if we'll ever see an ES like that of the Classic/Negative Zone Spider-Man PF or even the Grey Hulk PF.....

Just wait till they announce Grey Hulk PH dio with an ES of 97. :lol You'd think it wouldn't be possible since he wasn't grey for that storyline but he also wasn't green during his McFarlane battle with Spidey that the first dio was based on. ;)

Just something to give a little more incentive for those "die-hard" collectors.

They can still drop something in a few weeks in one of the newsletters. A faux bronze or some kind of variant.

Just out of curiousity, when the Grey Hulk Vs. Spidey Dio Ex. came out. Was there any warning or notice given in a newsletter? Or did it just "show up" and travel by word of mouth?

faux bronze, ehh. that's a cheezy variant.
way over done by everyone, imo

I wouldn't necessarily care for a Faux Bronze as much as I would say a "grey" variant or EVEN BETTER a CHROME-FINISHED Silver Savage as many of you have talked about earlier. (Something other than a Faux Bronze.)

It was just a link on the regular order page. VEry inconspicuous

So similar to what they did with the International Thing PF? (I don't remember than really "announcing" that one? It's just kind of went up for order, shadowed by the other Ex.)

i was just thinking, about that, and the fact when the word "GRAIL" gets thrown around all the time, that particular piece never comes up.

perhaps it's because so few people have one that it's an oversight. since that bad boy is way more valuable than any doom. i would peg one of those in the $2500-$3000 range imo.
maybe i'm crazy on that one, but how can you even put a $$value on something that never ever comes available??

I think its interesting that we now have two Hulk dios from relatively obscure matchups and nothing from possibly the most famous Hulk battle of all.

Especially considering that his opponent in that fight was recently listed as the greatest comic book character of all time by Wizard magazine and apparently he has some new movie or something coming out. ;)

Was it at released on a Thursday? Or just a random day of the week?

It was released with the NL on a Thursday. You had to go to the Green Hulk vs. Spidey Exc. page and the page had a link that said, wouldn't it look good in Grey.
