I love it. Black Grey Fox >>>>>>>>>>> TTS Grey fox

yeah Play Arts is about 8 inches, which is like the perfect size right?

They're more like 10 inches in height (1/8 scale). But, I sort of wish that these figures were 1/6, then I could display them with my Medicom and Hot Toys stuff, and show them CQCing my Medi Snake figures :rotfl.

I think that's the problem with Play Arts, though. They're the only company (that I know of) that specializes in 1/8 figures, so none of their stuff is going to be in scale with other figures in your collection.

I broke a elbow peg in an arm of my Snake figure... does anyone know if I can get a replacement joint anywhere? To Play-Art issue them?

An email couldn't hurt. Or you could try and contact the manufacturer. You are more likely to get a response from the company who made the toy because they are more likely to have the part in question just lying in a bin somewhere. You'd be very surprised. Just ask them if they can replace it, offer to pay for shipping or something. You get a much better reaction from Customer Service if you ask nicely and maybe even offer to send a thank you email to their superior if they are able to help. They want to make customers happy so they'll continue to buy from them and support the company.

I've gotten many replacement parts by doing that.

Just noticed that my Sneaking Suit Snake had fallen over on my shelf today. I've had him in the crouched behind the shield position shown on the box and it looks like his right right joint gave out. There is no longer any clicking into position so both joints at the knee fold all the way in when the figure's weight is placed on it.

Anyone else have any similar problems? Anyone know any fixes for this sort of thing?

Regarding the Gray Fox figure, does anyone know how to go about ordering/preordering one? I can't seem to find out where to get these. Any help is appreciated.

We're not going to see the Gray Fox figure up for pre-order anytime soon. Play Arts tends to take a very long time to have their figures up for pre-order. I'd say we should expect a release by early next year.

Terrible news! Thank you very much for the fast response.

No problem. Yeah, I'm interested in placing a pre-order as soon as this figure is up. Since it's Gray Fox, this is going to sell out pretty fast.

Fox has been a favorite of mine since forever. I'm also very hopeful that Hot Toys decides to release a Gray Fox, as well.

Somewhat off-topic, but do you have any idea whether or not the 6-inch Gray Fox figure from around the time of MGS is rare? I can't seem to find anywhere online that has them for sale, including eBay.

Yeah, the old McFarlane Gray Fox is pretty rare. I've seen MISB ones sell in upwards for $50 on ebay. But, I guess that the price of it might devalue because of the Play Arts Gray Fox figure. The figure does show up from time to time...
