Can't download the update. Keeps saying "cannot connect to the server within the time limit (NW-31456-9)"

Can't do anything with the internet as different error codes keep popping up. Quite annoying

Sony announced that their shutting down some features of PSN to make sure things went "smooth" for the European launch.

Wouldn't surprise me if this "temporary shutdown" has been expanded and/or they just completely shut it off for North American users for the time being just to make sure things are EXTREMELY EASY for Europe. Cut off one country for another.

So not only Black Friday New PS4 Owners, but you also have a whole new continent that jumped onto PSN.

I doubt Black Friday is much of the reason, a lot of back Friday shoppers are xmas shoppers so they won't be a huge issue until the 24/25th.

So how does the PS3>PS4 upgrade system work?
It's not a code since the PS3 FIFA doesn't come with one, and its bit by disk since the PS4 says don't insert the dosc

I was under the impression that you could place the console into standby mode then when resuming you can jump straight back into the game at the exact same point where you were.

Not possible right?

Just had an audio log play through the speaker. It was awesome. It felt outside the game. Really hope they impliment that in future Dead Spaces and Bioshocks and other games with such collectibles

I wouldn't trust the PS4 to do anything correct right now. So far it has managed to lose 6 saved games for two different games. Not to mention the number of PSN issues.

So after aying for a few hours, i'm quite happy. Overall i like the DS4, the triggers are great and feel great, my only niggle that i'll have to get used to is the sticks. They feel a bit too small and stiff compared to the larger and more swivelly DS3 counterparts

For sure. And you could fix any problem that came up simply by blowing into the cartridge. They literally dont make them like they use to.

I must be doing something wrong. I have a few codes for games and when I try to input them, I get kicked to the home screen. I enter the code, hit R2, shows the loading symbol for less then a second and I'm back at the home screen.

If I try to redeem the codes on the website I get "the code is no longer valid" even though it's a PS4 game I got today, with the PS4 itself?

Went to my local Walmart yesterday to try and score one, got there and they only received a restock of 15 units, I was number 18 FML! Anyone know where I might be able to score one of these online without paying rape prices?

On a sidenote, I picked up an X1 they had about 50 of those. Set it up and now I feel like this thing is spying on me.

go to places like target or sears or something such as those. people go to the obvious places to buy the consoles and forget department stores exist. youd have a better chance there than bestbuy or gamestop.
