I'm a bit surprised by Ps4. It doesn't play Cd's, you can't connect an external drive and it doesn't play 3D blu-rays (yet) even though it's being promoted as part of the Man of Steel 3D BD campaign.

I still love it, but... hmmmmmm.....

Then they all went home and realised they couldn't access PSN, play a blu-ray, a 3D blu-ray, a cd, in fact it did very little at all at launch.
:lol

I wonder why they do it that way? In the U.S. it's like that for Black Friday, but for stuff like the console launches it's all done in an orderly line--first come first served.

I wouldn't even involve myself in a situation like that. It always amazes and dissapoints me watching these videos. Watching people resort to childhood in the blink of eye is just so disturbing. It's even more disturbing when you realize these people are potential voters. :horror

And that's why there's so many broken consoles on launch :lol

It's a dumb way to sell them . They should get them to queue in a line properly on a 1st come 1st served basis with the consoles behind the till or something

Do they not know the concept of a line?? It does look fun though, if you don't mind possibly getting roughed up a bit. I would've grabbed a whole stack and then run around the store Benny Hill style :rotfl

so now after around 20 days since the PS4 got released, what's your longest gaming hours till you noticed it's gonna heat up ?

SONY WARNS OF 'IRREGULAR ACTIVITY' ON PSN ACCOUNTS

Forced password resets for some PlayStation users.

BY: MATT CLARK
DECEMBER 5, 2013
Last night, I logged onto my PlayStation 4 and was met with a disconcerting message. Apparently, my PSN password was "no longer valid, and needed to be changed." Changing my password was simple enough, but thanks to the Great PlayStation Hack of 2011, it's hard not to feel concerned anytime Sony is arbitrarily demanding account resets. And as mentioned by The Verge, this isn't an isolated problem.

Sony emailed a number of its PlayStation users last night, requiring a password reset. According to the email, "Sony Entertainment Network team routinely monitors for any irregular activity, and if such activity is detected, we may sometimes reset passwords of affected accounts to protect consumers and their account information."

Essentially, Sony is telling me--along with an unknown number of other PSN users--that something fishy has happened with my account. Earlier this week, massive security breaches were detected at Facebook, Twitter, and Google. Of course, it's entirely possible Sony is just taking precautions, but it doesn't appear every PSN user has faced the same mandatory password resets.

As of this writing, Sony hasn't offered further details beyond the rather vague explanation provided in the emails.
