Having trouble trying to find a reason to get one of these. some help?
Xbox one is a no-brainer, i like halo, i Like dead rising. if i want to play those, i need an Xbox one.
Square is now multiplatform. So is metal gear....
Can anyone recommend me a good reason TO get a ps4, once prices come down to a sane level, and a better designed V2 hits the market? ( and no, that's not a *** at it, i just personally don't trust launch editions. i'm waiting for a cheaper v2 on the XBone as well)
For one thing, unlike last gen, multiplatform games tends to run better on PS4 than the XB1, and XB1 ports tends to be inferior. (Metal Gear Solid V on XB1 is at 720p and missing the dynamic skies whilst it's 1080p on Ps4).
As for the games, the Last of Us remastered is an exemplary port of an excellent game. Playing both versions extensively, the PS4 version is the way to go and the improved framerate indeed adds more towards your enjoyment of the game. It's a must have, regardless of it's last gen native architecture.
As for you concerns of launch models and price, the PS4 is nicely designed as it is with a custom cooler that "Sony is proud of" and looking no bigger than the slim PS3. As for the price, it's way cheaper than what the PS3 retailed for way back when.
As mentioned above too, Uncharted 4 looks to impress on all levels. It was one of the stand out new IP's of last gen and it's surely to make an impact when it comes out.
