Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes, Assassins Creed Unity, and GTA 5, that was the best I could come up with to be honest.

The Last of Us: Remastered (definitely). GTAV if you haven't played it before, Dragon Age: Inquisition.

There's several other good ones though, Killzone: Shadowfall is actually pretty good, then there's Infamous: Second Son, Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4.

I was browsing the PS store and it's painful to see how expensive the digital games are over their physical equivalent. Sony's explanation is that they want to keep the retail market competitive with the digital distribution is a joke. There aren't any manufacturing, distribution, stock keeping, or staff cost.

At this rate, I really don't see why one should go digital beyond the convenience of not inserting the disc into the system. Physical copies are still the way to go.

Yeah the prices are shocking, I only get stuff that's on offers.

Must have some kind of deal with retailers. If they undercut them there would be no game stores left.
Plus the fact that 500gb is a puny amount to start saving games to, mine is almost full already, got my eye on upgrading to a 2 Tb drive.

I've seen the Black Friday deal of a PS4 with GTA5 and TLOU for $400. Is anyone else aware of any other deals coming up? I want to get a PS4, but have played both of the included games on my PS3. Given TLOU is my all time favorite game, but just curious if I should wait for a price drop or something else.

I still don't think it's worth getting a ps4 yet especially if you own all the remasters on PS3 already.

Mine has collected dust for most of the year, still waiting for the actual AAA PS4 exclusives to drop.

I'm glad most people around here got a PS4 instead of Xbone, there's no reason for us not to play together

Damn new update from a couple weeks back bricked my console. Won't even turn on anymore. Instantly turns off whenever I press the power button. Can't even keep it on long enough for the 30 seconds it would take to back up my games. This is the second system Sony has sent me in the past two months.

I've said it before, TLOU Remastered is such a transformative experience. The game is liberated from it's last-gen technical restraints and the result are quite stunning. 60fps, no more nauseating camera and jaggies and much better draw distance are among what's being offered here. Sure, it doesn't as good as MGSV, but after playing it there's just no going back to the PS3 version. And there's the Photo Mode which is hours of fun.

If you proclaim the game as your favorite of all time, then experiencing it on PS4 is a no brainer. That much is certain.

I loved the PS3 version, and asked the wife to get me the Remastered for xmas. I'm looking forward to comparing them both one after the other.

The social features of the PS4 is quite remarkable. I wonder if the Xbox is similar now that PS4 has SharePlay, live boradcasts and such.

Have you tried to rebuild the database? The two subsequent updates that came after 2.0 have fixed all of the issues people had.

I loved the PS3 version, and asked the wife to get me the Remastered for xmas. I'm looking forward to comparing them both one after the other.

Tried it, but the system just wont stay on for longer than a second.

What triggered it? Was it the Rest mode bug and if so did you happen to cut the power when during the bug? That could be lethal to the console.

In any case, you're still covered under warranty aren't you?

Of course I didn't unplug it while in rest mode.

I downloaded the update a couple weeks ago and suddenly the console started randomly shutting down. The time it took to shut down got shorter and shorter until one day I tried to update the system again but the console wouldn't even power up. It just turns on and then instantly shuts down.

Yea, im still under warranty for one more week, but don't have a receipt to prove it unfortunatly.

I recommend buying the 3 year warranty from the Playstation store, I believe ps plus members get a discount right now for it.

Thanks!! I was planning on picking it up again anyways after getting a PS4. I've been leaning more and more towards grabbing the bundle next Friday.
