It took a hack of personal information and over 2 months of PSN being down last time to get freebies. I doubt we'll get anything, and hope we won't have another situation to warrant free gifts

Nice. I noticed in the trailer that while fighting the game looks low framed like anime. Yet they are infact 3d built characters, maybe purposefully lowered for the anime look. Does the low-frame look come through in the game or is it a smooth 60fps?

Possibly dumb question, but I've never looked much into the connection...
With single player / offline games, how dependent on PSN / XBL being up are they? I noticed when PSN was being wacky, just loading TLOU would sit on that black and white shot of Joel and Ellie for like five minutes before the game would load. It seems like the game should be able to load to the main menu with no issues, but starting a MP game would be when the drama started.

From what I understand it's an issue if you bought the game digitally, that it will have to verify even if it's a single player offline game. For games on disc it shouldn't matter. I played GTAV without problems while PSN was down.
