Backwards compatibility never did bother me all that much. I mean once you get a decent library built up you wont go back to the old stuff all that often.

That's pretty much what happened when I got my PS3. I hardly ever touched any of my PS2 games - except for the occasional play throughs of MGS 2 and 3. For the most part, my PS2 library became obsolete.

I have one preordered from Amazon, but will most likely go preorder tommorow at Gamestop. I'm going to trade in my old consoles
