Awesome! But if you don't mind my asking, how can you tell, does it say "Launch Edition" on your order status now? I'm curious because I preordered before they even had Standard and Launch editions, and my invoice just says "Playstation 4" right now.

I hope I got my order in on time lol.

If you ordered that early, you should be just fine. It changed my status to launch day edition, though, which excites me and puts me at ease because I won't have to wait too long.

Check your email. Amazon should have sent you one with a link to click for the upgrade. That's how I got my standard release upgraded to the launch release.

Thanks very much for the help, guys! I read what you both said, and went back to check my email, and apparently I deleted a message saying they automatically upgraded me to the Launch Edition. So you were both right haha!

First time in my life I've ever preordered a console, can't wait!

You're very welcome. And Same here. I've never pre-order a console before. But, this time is different - since I've made it an annual tradition to play the latest releases of Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty. There's no way I'd want to play those games on the current generation of consoles, when they're being developed for a more superior piece of hardware.

You're not alone. This is my first time Pre-Ordering, as well. The first console that I owned was a PS2, then, I didn't get my fat PS3 until about a year after it was released. This time, though, it's almost like it's too good to be true. A more powerful system that's more user friendly for a lower price? Plus, I've become more tech oriented over these years, and I know firsthand how much it sucks to wait in line. If much rather just Pre-Order and have it arrive on my doorstep.

I think Trophies carry over, but I could care less about them and would rather just start fresh with this system.
