I've only gamed on one PS3 since 2007, and never had to replace it. Thank God I never had any problems with it.

I never owned a X-Box 360, but my friends that have it have told me nightmare stories about RROD and the replacement process.

To be fair, the replacement process was pretty simple and it was completely free, you just needed to call them, they would pick up your 360 and in like 2 week you had it back.

Although, I'm pretty sure they'd just replace it with a refurbished one, yuk!

By the 3rd time I called them I was like: "Yup, it's me again", and they were like: "Got it, here's your case number" :lol

Still, not a single problem with my PS3 to date :yess:

Pretty sure it was refurbished. My replacement also ended up getting the RROD a year or so later The actual replacement process was pretty painless from start to finish. I remember it being a month until I got a new one back though.

I've had my 360 slim for 2 years now (Halo Reach edition) and not a single issue with it. I wonder what kind of issues will crop up with the next batch of next gen consoles....

That's what they complained about - the waiting process :lol. It must suck going through several X-Boxes and having to sit out of gaming for several weeks.

Microsoft was just never reliable as a hardware company.

There are only 2 things that happened to my 360.

1. I had a power surge that ****ed up the big brick plug thing which took a month for them to fix and,
2. My 360 kept freezing and RRODing and the warranty was up so It was cheaper to buy a new system.

3. Xbox One will be the same ****. I just don't trust MS hardware.

I and all my friends never had an issue with the 360. I had my launch console for 5 years and it only ended up faulty after I opened it up trying to clean it out. On the other hand I had a brand new ps3 that died within a year. :dunno

im on youtube and theres a planetside2 ad and it has real gamers talking on it and im like who the hell talks like that when theyre playing online? You never hear people say "ETA 45 seconds" "Lets roll out" like damn they got some nerdy *** people to play this

****ing eww :lol

Truly stomach turning. I hate chatty people on mics that have to talk like the game is real, or they're a real soldier in the game. Ughh the ****** chills.

But I want my games to feel real? :monkey2

Is it wrong, I've absorbed myself into the role of Joel in the Last of Us? :monkey2

Not at all. But if you're openly saying on a mic and other people can hear "Move out guys, please proceed to bravo delta charlie. Let's roll out" You need to be beaten with a bat. :lol

^^^ The reason I only ever play with myself... Solo by name, solo by nature... OH YEAH BABY!!!*

I wouldn't do that, but if people choose to "role play", that's their thing.
They are called Role playing games for a reason.
Even Warcraft had the extra nerd servers where you were expected to pick true fantasy names and was for those who truly wanted to role play.

Not for me, but for some it is.
