^^^ with modern HDTV features, I don't use it's "game" Mode .. I see using "Motionflow" or "Motion Plus" .. any Motion enhancing feature looks so great with all the walking/moving people is so smooth and clear

It might look good to you but that motion enhancing feature is strictly for movie or TV watching... it delays your response time when gaming and game mode turns off all of those extra TV enhancing features so it'll stay responsive.

I also think it makes everything look completely fake. Ugh.

Real life has a higher framerate so it's technically more realistic. I guess life is like a soap opera

Have you seen this mode on a tv before? Maybe on paper it's suppose to look more real, but thats not the effect it creates. It creates artifacts and choppy panning. It creates halos around things and when it's not doing that, it just looks odd and not very film-like.. I've heard some people say they like it, but it looks terrible to me.

We had a TV with the feature, when I first saw it I thought things were playing too fast, but I got used to it over time. I never got choppiness which really shouldn't be happening if it's happening for you. The only problems I've seen were with low-quality (like standard-def) content where there would be artifacts from the interpolation. But it worked pretty smoothly with Blu-Ray. Playing games or working on a computer with 120fps works really well though. The only problem with movies is that people are used to 24fps and things that look low quality like soap operas or sports use higher framerates so people instinctively get the impression of low quality when they see that.

I take it that you like it? Some people do. I've seen it on a bunch of different sets and sources, so it's not a case of not seeing it right or anything. It's just not an effect for everyone.

The problems you mentioned shouldn't be happening. I'm OK with the feature but I've seen it long enough that it doesn't really matter. Kind of like how when you're watching a 3D movie you kind of forget the 3D like halfway through the movie.
