I'm glad to see some of my old friends are picking up the same thing. I know I don't game much anymore but it will be nice to join you guys for a few rounds.

What is the deal with drive club? Do I not need to buy it? I have that preordered as well.

Now I guess I need to go back in this thread and see what games everyone is getting. I have Watch Dogs, Killzone, Drive Club, and Knack on pre-order. I'm thinking of removing Drive Club and putting in Battlefield.

I'm going to wait and pick up a PS4 until after I've given GTAV a very thorough play through.

Jay and I play together a lot. Jen (Darth Vader here) joins us a fair amount of time but she prefers hardcore (we tend to stick to core). Bagels joins us as well when he gets on and plays so we've got a core 3-4 that play MP. So you're more than welcomed to join us.

I don't believe anyone in our little group is getting it. Though, that doesn't mean its a bad game.

I'd go BF4 over Drive Club but I really like the Battlefield series.

Compare to current mid range PC, how much graphic capability the PS4 has over them?

So far I have on order:

BF4- Must have I have played this series since Bad Company 2 and it just gets better with each release. Keith you will like this one!

Assasins Creed 4- This one is kind of iffy for me. I like what I see but just couldn't get into the last one like I did the others.

The Order- I know jack about this one and it will more than likely get cut from my list for another game.

Killzone- Like BF this one is a must I just love the whole series.

Knack- Hell I just threw 5 down on the po so this one will be cut for ghosts.

I'll mainly be buying exclusives for my PS4... have no games on order right now.

I want Killzone Shadow Fall, Watch Dogs but I will see how it performs on PC before buying on console... umm.

I may buy AC4 on PS4 if it isn't as buggy as the PS3 versions, would like to stay away from Ubisoft DRM on PC, it's annoying.

I'd like BF4 but my brother isn't upgrading his system so unfortunately I'll be playing it on the 360... might buy it later on for PC.

If you already have a modern PC on hand, why not just spend a little bit extra and invest on a better graphic cards since with PC you can play it like forever and the potential is much bigger on PC.

For exclusives there's no doubt about buying them like Watch Dogs, Killzone, Uncharted 4, Last of Us 2, FFXV etc.

There's going to be some kind of free version of Drive Club included with PS4. I wouldn't buy it though even if it weren't free, it looks very generic.

I believe the PS4 GPU was equal to around a Radeon 7870. But, console games will be more optimized over PC.

October 2013 is the projected release for Zelda Windwaker HD.
Whether or not they will actually stick to that schedule is the question. I know I'm getting it. I've never played it the first time it was released (Gamecube?).

Yeah I want to get that game, but will probably wait until it's on sale or something. I'm not sure I can continue to validate Nintendo's existence by continuously repurchasing the same games over and over. It just seems like all they're doing is making baby steps, and any time they get a set back the rerelease a classic game with "HD" to recoup their losses.

I know I'm crying like a little girl about it, but between the WiiU and the 3DS I only have 2 "new" games that aren't rehashes of an older game, and one of them was just released in HD for the WiiU.

I hear ya. Nintendo needs to get a move on with new content. Pikmin 3 was fun. Finished it. But there's no doubt we need a new Zelda and Metroid. Not re-releases.

Watch Dogs is not a PS4 exclusive. It will also be available on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox1. However, I think the PS3 and PS4 may be getting exclusive content, but not sure about that though.

Just wondering is there any HD versions of Resident Evil 1 remake & 0?

It was the main reason i bought a wii just to play the GC version, and since wii version never did a HD.

i have pretty much given up on Nintendo since they cater to kiddy games for adults & kids nowadays. i haven't even finished the 1st paper mario or new mario bros yet...

That is why many people buy them over a PC, because it's economically viable option while still providing great visuals and last about 2-3 years before lagging behind PCs.

I can't imagine how new PC cards would look like by the time PS4 is released. And how outdated PS4 would look like in 2-3 years. What's the retail price for the standard PS4?

None that I'm aware of. I still say that we need Capcom to do a complete overhaul on RE2. That was my first and favorite in the series.

~~But on topic...I like the Upgrade promotion that Sony announced, but not sure I'd even use it. That's a surefire way for them to make more money on people that are gonna buy everything anyways.

Xbox 360 and PS3 were outdated in power compared to PC when they released
