IMO this is what the Vita has been waiting for. If Sony can start pumping out more games of this quality on a regular basis they will unquestionably kill the 3DS.

yes Sony needs more games... but Nintendo has some games in the works that are system sellers... so I can only think at this time Sony can only try to compete with the 3DS but there are many factors... its a long hard road for Sony now... Btw i love my Vita and 3DS

I was really looking forward for this game, but now I'm a lil worried. The developer isnt really that good and the graphics in the trailer look like ***. Wished a developer like Uncharted's could've had a chance at this. Hopefully the finished game will turn out ok.

Wish I could of gotten into LBP but it never really stuck with me. I even bought the collectors edition of LBP 2 hoping I could seriously get into it but no luck. I think part of it was I had no friends who played it and also I have begun to grow out of more kid oriented games. As a matter of fact Ive almost put off video games completely since I started collecting figures and statues ect. Went from buying 8-10 games a year to maybe 3-4. Sigh, I hate growing up... Got the LBP 2 collectors ed bookends for sale if anybodys interested.

I got COD for the Vita & it's actually quite fun after all the bad reviews it got, seems like a lot of other gamers are enjoying it to looking at the comments on ign etc.

Killzone: Mercenary is contracted to take out North America on September 17, and Europe on September 18. The sci-fi shooter series' first Vita entry gets a new trailer as payment, along with some screens to sweeten the deal.

Mercenary's single-player campaign includes nine missions, each nearly an hour long according to Guerilla Games producer Poria Torkan, while its multiplayer features six maps for up to eight players, with three different modes to choose from.

Vita price drop in Japan to 19, 980 yen for both WiFi and 3g models. That converts to about $215.

No set price confirmed for other regions yet.
