I've seen a couple IM 1:1's posted on eBay lately that claim to be in PERFECT condition and free of defects..... I'm curious if they actually ARE flawless

Very true....

My bust has no cracks, chips or pealing paint.....(yet)
but I can tell you right now it aint flawless. I would say that it
is one of the good one's, but Imo it could be better.

My first bust had the paint cracking off from the stand whitin 3-4 days.....My seconds has been stored in the box now for serveral months - it looks fine but in one corner at the stand it seems like a crack paint start.......how long warenty do we got when the quality is as low as at these ? Its clear for me to se that the surface under the paint isent sanded and primed ????????? Everyone know this is a must...

I know what i am posting here is not IM 1:1 bust but a similiar thing happen to my PredAlien's base and also the paint peeled off from Darkness LSB behind the neck and ears which i returned. You guys should check on all the pieces you owned.

I just received the Darkness LSB from an Ebay seller. Bust was brand new. Paint cracking off is a total disaster. . As you can see from his face, he seems really happy that his skin is falling off.

SideShow needs to address this, this seems to be popping up a lot lately. I have seen so many busts now taking this on. HellBoy, Iron Man, now this. Oi. Maybe I should stick to collecting only game worn jerseys.

Oh crap. This does not bode well. For us collectors or for sideshow. I have about 7 or 8 pieces boxed up. make me scared as to what their condition may be upon opening them.


Please fix this and make it right sideshow.

If I were ss QC, I'd determineif these came from the same Chinese plant and what others ones did. Strange how same problems sideshow is having with quality control is the same problem I am having with Asian vendors at my work.

Way to outsource quality/jobs America.

wow, paint issues like this should never happen on a high end piece, I love Sc stuff, but I think these paint issues need to be addressed now before people start to loose confidence in their products and decide to not order their stuff.
