I do too, they are the first booth I see every year at SDCC (among other outbursts of enthusiasm), and I have really appreciated some of their employees that I have met; they are a great company. I have benefitted personally quite a bit from them, and they have always given back - I have been collecting SS for more than 5 years. I hope my post is being taken respectfully, but direct; because this IS a MAJOR weakness that has to be fixed.

LOTR please know I was not disagreeing with you or saying that I love them and you do not, what I was saying was that there is a problem and it DOES need to be fixed, but as long as we keep buying even with all the servers problems why would they ever fix the problem? As long as we keep paying them the problems will go on.
And I agree Sideshow always gives back to us, no doubt about that, contest, give aways, etc, but I also agree with you when you said it used to be so much fun on Thursdays, now it is just a frustrating relapse every week of reload, reload, reload.
 
Patient Zero night was horrid.

Tonight shouldn't have been a big deal, but it took me an hour to order the Scout Trooper. Not sure why things are getting so bad on newsletter nights lately, but I hope something can be done.

If not, then make just about every new exclusive a Friday morning PPO until the server can handle the load on Thursday nights.

No, I know :peace , I was agreeing with you about their foundation as a company; while at the same time making painfully clear a major issue they are having.

OC, you literally had near every flipper and SS collector trying to get the EX. It's funny how methodically some think that it's gonna go for triple on the market.

Thats the thing, even PPos are really bad at times. I read people were having problems with lando.

I see the Dusty is on, maybe she'll drop 2 cents on this matter?

All I can say is that almost every post on this board is read by *someone* at Sideshow and/or passed along to those who 'need' to see it - just because there may not be an answer posted (immediately or even ever), doesn't mean it hasn't been seen and processed :duff

They have been doing this for a few months now at least. Most of the time its not THAT big of a problem but last night was by far the worst. I would think a Sparrow PF would be a PPO (of course with the same results just at a different time of day.)
 
It could be a greasy flipper with a little script kiddie knowledge just running a DOS attack and owning sideshow's servers long enough to scoop up all the exclusives while everyone else is busy hitting their F5 keys.
 
Seems like upgrades will help for a bit, but then as more (I assume) traffic occurrs what did work no longer does. It has been bad the last 2 times I actually wanted to order something on Thursday (Predator 1 exclusive and T-600 exclusive) so I hope it can run smoother.

Yes SS please fix your server NL night is getting worse and worse every week.
 
Last night was terrible. I feel bad for people trying to get both Scout and Dagger. Maybe they should have only one thing go on order on NL night. Something definitely needs to get fixed though.
 
I brought this issue up a couple of times. It's even more painful for those that sit behind their CPU at 3 AM to read the newsletter just to make sure they don't miss out on the very limited stuff.
I wrote SSC a couple of times about this issue also. And I seem to remember that I even got a reply once! When there's something bothering you about SSC, I advice to write a mail to SSC's customer service right away.

On a positive note: the newsletter is very punctual since quite some time now. See, it IS possible. Thanks for the improvement!

Of course, there is the possibility that its not the servers but the internet bandwidth, either directly into SS, the provider or at some other regional point near SS.
