Plo Koon Priority Preorder Thread

I just submitted an "Ask Sideshow" question about Plo's saber and clothes colors. Hopefully we'll get an answer soon.

Note that his long robe isn't that dark, but his inner tunic definitely is.

Well, I put myself on the waitlist for the exclusive....I was in Ca on a business trip and could not get access to a computer in time. First fig since Luke that I have not scored on the inital PPO.

He looks good. I understand about the extra $10, but for some reason on this fig, it does not feel totally justified...is the dual lightsaber cannon or made up? Was that on the animated show? I cannot remember!

The detailing on the face and mask looks excellent. I really hope this is the last of the 'good guy Jedis' for awhile! I want more diversity in this line and we are now ordering into next year.

I passed on this one, first SW 12" figure I do so with...

My display space is somewhat limited and "Plo" just isn't that important to me. There are so many other characters I want before him (including EU and other backgroud characters and Jedi's) that ultimately, I feel that if I had bought him he would have eventually taken the place of another figure I want more...

No regrets here for me.

I'm glad for those who wanted him and got him.

I'm still on the fence with this one. The outfit realy threw me off as well as the extra $$$ mark up. I don't really want the extra lightsaber gauntlet, can't imagine I'd ever use it, unless the made Obi Wan in Clone Armor (GOD I WISH!!!). I really think I was expecting a little more accessory-wise, the other blade or something. Might change my though, or just wait it out through to the end. If Kit Fisto can be had on ebay for $40 or even less then Plo will be right there with him.

I think the exclusive is a good choice because it if you missed it it isnt as big a deal as if you missed Lukes blaster or something.

I don't think Luke's blaster is a big deal at all, either. Unless you plan to pose him with it pointing at Jabba (which was, what, all of 2 seconds in the movie?) there is really no need for it.

I am even getting the Jabba set and I don't regret not getting the Luke exclusive at all.

I like my Jedi sans blasters, thank you very much. :emperor

I'd have to say the same thing... he just didn't do it for me! But good for those of you who love this fig!

That is such an odd choice for an exclusive? I guess its cool that they are pooling from a number of sources, but a double bladed lightsaber gauntlet

He's still a pass but definitely a cool looking figure that I'm sure people will be very happy with!

I said the same thing about Luke when I passed on him. After it came out I realized how cool it was and bought one off ebay.

Lesson learned: order even if you are unsure. if you get an exclusive and don't want it, there's always someone on these boards who missed it and will gladly take it off your hands.

Yup. This is what I love SS is that they allow you to pre-order and cancel anything without any charges, unless it is on Flexpay.

Personally, I would have been truly upset if I did not score the Luke exclusive - since that same weapon came with my classic ROTJ Luke, it is very iconic to me.

I think the PLo exclusive is a 'pass' for me - I will not miss it if I cannot get the waitlist cleared; just doing it to be a completist, which I will see how long that ends up being...

I'm actually bummed that I missed out on the Luke exclusive. That and regular Anakin I didn't order because I was naive into thinking that my Hasbro figures were "good enough". I was wrong. I was able to get a regular Luke on ebay and still don't have regular Anakin.

But I so wish I could have the blaster that came with Luke. I mean... he uses it in the film! And who knows they'll make a random guard that comes with the same weapon.

Grievous' blaster I think would eventually come with Grievous if they made him. It's HIS anyway.

BTW, I think Corner Store Comics still has regualr Anakins in stock. They are turst worthy and great to deal with. One of Michael Crawford's sponsers too. HURRY!

Ah, well that's too bad. I'm sure there's tons of people who would want to see Grievous come with his own blaster. The more I think about it, the more I don't think exclusives should be something as important as a weapon seen on film or more importantly, a costume change. Things like Jango's helmet, battle droid head... I'm all ok with missing out on. But I'd like to have all the weapons used.

And yah, I probably wouldn't get that "good" anakin unless I bought another Obi-wan to fight my "bad" anakin.

These toys are just too cool that I'd go nuts with having extras in different poses.

I think the exclusive will look great. I preordered one, but depending on what comes out around him, I may cancel him for a better character.
