Rogue and Psylocke EX were both 750. Storm is 500. But, I am very surprised that Ivy is so high at 1,500. I don't think she's anymore popular than the X-women.

More money for SS. What else? :dunno I guess the good thing is I do get my ex unlike a 20 min sell outs or my computer gets stuck for an hour I still get one. I guess it better than not getting any at all.

Exactly! Plus, you're not going to have to pay flipper prices either! :wink1:

I feel like SS is really starting to sellout. 1500 ES Ex for Ivy? Really...? At least I will always have the beautiful pieces I owned from years prior. Not sure if I will keep collecting if they pop out this many ES items. They're just not as special to me then, but to each their own if you guys want to collect 'em more power to you. :)

Thanks for your support bro. :1-1: I mean if it was the same as joker fine. But now these ES are getting out of control. So if the ex is 2000 for batman. 1500 for ivy, how many reg will there be? Maybe 3500 plus for batman and 2500 to 3500 for reg ivy? One day SS is going to flood the market and then retailers could get stuck with inventory that won't move because people can buy them cheaper online. Then if the retailers stop ordering these and SS could be in trouble. Not saying it will happen, just a thought. :dunno

My main concern is how they turn out. If Ivy looks sensational when she arrives at my house, I won't care at all that 1,499 other people in the whole world have one too.

Exactly. I get it, it's all about business on SS part but as a collector I'm like "maybe it's time to move onto another company that's more collectible." These aren't toys that everyone should have. I'll stick with SS for a bit, but I think I will only pick up pieces with lower ES from now on. To those that are happy with at least 5000-6000 of these that are going to be floating around and paying $400 for them, cool. I just was bummed by the news. Thanks for the support. :)

Good luck finding a company that has lower ES numbers. Bowen is no better, DC Direct is much worse and Koto and GG are also similar to Sideshow.

Perfect example. The DC Direct Catwoman Museum statue I just sold wasn't even numbered. She retailed for $325.

I won't leave SS, just will buy smaller ES pieces. Don't get me wrong, they do amazing work and that's why I buy from them. But at that large ES quantity I will concentrate on more unique pieces even though I'm a big DC fan. I just hope next year it won't be "order the Exclusve, 5000 ES." Anyway, stepping off my soap box now... I've vented. I feel better. :rotfl Goodnight all!

yes and you sold it for <$250.. i am sure you are very thrilled to lose 25% of its value, but most sane people dont.

but you are right, this is definitely a perfect example why open es suck.

there's plenty of bigfoot's & venomasaurous's waiting for you :wave

1500 pieces for the excl. ??? what a joke !!! it's even more than the Joker excl. :slap

and what ES will the regular version get? 2500? :lol that would make 4000 pieces in total and Poison Ivy is not even a main character ...

That's exactly my point. They made probably thousands of them like DC Direct is known for. Sideshow still has good numbers when you compare them to competing companies.

P.S. she did sell for under $250 but I didn't lose any money either. No way in hell I paid retail for that piece.
