... If I was you would be one of the first people I thought of skillet
If some me was to come in here and say "I have an Ex for sale for retail+shipping+fees" there would be at least 2 or 3 guys who would probably JUMP at the chance to get this. Like i said I would still be without an Batman Ex if a fellow Freak hadn't decided to pass his good fortune onwards when he decided to cancel it...

I actually like the regular version. Granted, I'm on the Wait List that won't convert for the Ex. just to have options; however, the regular version makes it look like her man-eating plants are lying in wait...it looks like she's seducing someone and everything around her -- including Ivy herself -- is just waiting for the right moment to strike!

The regular exudes more mystique for me. If you like in-your-face brashness, then the EX is a must. to each his/her own.

I think if you like the character it doesn't really matter which version you get. She stays the same...which is perfect.

but I still order the ex. Otherwise it's on the way to my comicshop for a discount for the reg. The most I didn't like about the ex is a tiny plant. It's kind of useless. Lol... What the ex should have been is a ex head by a different artist/ sculpter sort of like vampi PF for a different feel. It worked out for perfection on vampi PF!For sure
That has got to be one of the lamest EX I've seen. You can barely even see the batarang. At least with this EX it's a nice touch and it looks better than the reg even if only a little bit.

Yeah I couldn't careless about the Batman Ex but its better that way for us international buyers when the Ex isn't essential. Saves me money
Or from the way people reacted to that shopped pic by Shoo, a switch-out abdomen

Went with ex for Ivy and Batman personally. As a UK collector as well, I totally agree exclusives have to be worth having in general.
Had to go the whole way for that batman pf as that piece is IMO one of the best commercially available batman statues outside custom pieces of course (batman in batcave or fatboys batman on gargoyle for example) and personally I would regret not getting any form of exclusive item on it however lame...ok not a print...I wouldnt get a print
In summary I can however understand why people want the reg if not in the US.
But............... IMO Poison Ivy exclusive is definitely the only way to go for me personally. Its of course a beautiful piece overall but the plants on the reg look just too benign for me. I think those ex plants clearly demonstrate her powers and raise the threat level of what is just a beautiful pin up statue otherwise. The exclusive statue, for me, tells more of a story which the regular edition doesn't.
