If you mean people born before 1992 then yes. probably.

Generation 1 destroys all, except for maybe 2.

Most people here have been, which is why were all more attached to the original 151.

It's not about being attached. I personally look at everything beyond 251 as inferior. The designs only continue to get worse and worse with each sequel.

In the last maybe two regions there is a lot of forgettable Poke'mon.

well my least favorite gen is the third. but im never gonna say that gen 1 is the best because every gen has its great and bad designs.

But from start to finish, I can't see a bad design at all from 1-251. Beyond that, they stopped looking like animals altogether. All the legendaries in gen 3 were pretty stupid.

The evolutions of Magmar and Electabuzz have got to be the worse things in Poke'mon existence.

well ofcourse not because they created like 190 pokemons in the beginning and took the best designs and placed it in gen 1 and the rest in gen 2 and so on...

some of the gen 1 evo's are really original too like we have one magnemite and turn it into three magnemites, holy **** thats brilliant! :OOOO
that's exactly what i want three magnemites stuck together. saves me the time to catch three seperate magnemites xD

It's original at least, there is probably 200 Poke'mon of the new generation that should just be axed from the franchise.
