I wonder if CC missed the boat here. Will people really want another warpaint Conan? Or any other Conan for that matter? I have King Conan on order & the Crom set. I won't be picking this one up. If it's 1/4 more people may be interested but with CC track record it will only be $100 less then the PCS 1/3. Thoughts?

I think it's silly to go yet another war paint version.

Pit fighter and Tower of Set outfits would be two great options.
I think the finale battle in full armor would make an amazing statue, especially if they made it based on the iconic shot of him running toward the camera, mid swing and boggle eyed! I'd instant buy that.

According to a post at SF, it was hinted on Paul's Facebook page that this would be a 1/6 poseable figure. The only other statue that was ever talked about was the 1/6 poster scene. I'm sure a war paint statue would not have popped up out of nowhere as he probably knew PCS was making one.

Looking at the movie images of Conan on the beach, does the statue sword look a little to gold?

I think you could nitpick this to death if you wanted. The wrists wraps are not quite right. The wheel of pain should be on a thin cord, not a wide strap. Conan isn't squinting enough. He's too ripped. I don't think we will ever get a 100% accurate anything from anyone.

In those comparison shots, I really think that the statue came out perfectly. The build and definition of the statue is amazing, in my opinion, and I'll admit that if PCS had gone for a 'softer' build, it is very likely that I wouldn't have bought either variant. I absolutely love what PCS put together with these andI fully agree with Arnold that they are perfect as they are (with the only exception being that the warpaint must be corrected but that has already been positively addressed). I had to say that one last time. ☺

Can't resist. 1 war paint ordered. Wish I can order the regular too but too many preorders already. I really want both..... This is the 2nd time I have strong feeling toward getting regular and the variant of the same statue, the 1st time was king and gladiator hulk.

Know the feeling. Don't have the space or the money to spare but had to pull the trigger. Figure I can always resell it later if need be.

The idea of ordering both pieces at this scale!?
What daring! What outrageousness! What insolence! What arrogance!...
I salute you.
