Anyone else notice in the PCS newsletter it says 1:4 scale for Conan? I noticed it last week but figured it was a typo but this week same thing.

I own the SS Conan (EX), but by Crom and every other Cimmerian god, I also want this 1:3 war paint! If they get the paint job screen-accurate in the end (as some of you keep claiming is a definite), that's going to be a magnificent piece. I'm actually shocked it's not sold out yet, at only a $800 price point. The statue will be worth twice that a few years from now. Pre-order purchased my SS Conan for $400 back when it was released, now you can't find him for under $1,200, if you can find him at all. I'm tempted to part with him to pay for this new PCS 1:3 version, but I can't bring myself to get rid of him.

It's not 3rd party resellers.
All us Conan fans across all the statue sites were there waiting, pressing refresh on the day of preorder, waiting for it to come up.
The warpaint version sold out almost instantly.
The regular one went in under a day.

I'm lucky I wanted the regular anyway. It's my Arnie grail piece.
For the warpaint version, I've looked at the SS one on my shelf for a decade.

Understood, SAB. I'm not knocking the fans. God knows I'm one of them. But they weren't ALL fans. eBay sellers who know what they're doing also know what fans like yourself are looking for, and you can bet your warpainted butt they're right there clicking "refresh" themselves for all of the worthwhile releases. It's why Sideshow and some other sites limit a certain number of orders per person. Regardless, you can go on eBay right now (https://ebay.to/2gMR26H) and find the "pre-order of a pre-order" for the two-pack for $4,000. And, BTW, the seller has a terrible 87.5% positive feedback rate for a measly 169 transactions.

This is the sort of thing I'm talking about. In fact, it's a goddamn case study. But I digress.

It was at least a day, I am thinking more like a few days. The sets were what sold out very quick.

All I know is this is a great time to be a Conan fan.

I have been slowly customizing my SS Conan to be accurate and have been hanging on to a 2nd SS Conan EX to customize into an end scene version holding the broken father's sword and Thulsa Doom head.
it would be an easy custom, but I gave it up on ebay ($910.00 near mint Ex) because I simply won't have space once the Chronicle and PCS arrive.

I only ordered the beach version because 1.it fits the pose and 2.I have war paint Sideshow.

As far as the warpaint/Cammo PCS...I believe Jerry confirmed he would in fact make the pattern accurate mainly due to to my persistent pestering about accuracy on the statue forum. So yea, you are welcome...lol.

May I ask what customizing you've done to your SS Conan? I'm looking to customize mine as well, starting with a metal version of the sword (top half of hilt through blade) and a mixed media, metal version of the half-scabbard. Those are going to cost me, but they'll take an already awesome statue to the next level. I still think the old SS Conan is one of the best premium format statues ever made.

Yes it would. Same could be said about automatic payments. Having to manually send them money on the payment plans is a PITA and way behind the times.

I didn't know that was the case tbh. The Karl urban modern Dredd was my first purchase from them and I paid in full. Seems their site could definitely use a bit of modernisation.
