Ya know, I helped out bit on that statue RobertoBagg10?! ;)

It came out well but I still think the legs are too long.

Ha! Yea, i remember your comments on the MOTU Forum! :lol Thats where i found out about him. I think you inputed on the size ratio from hair to forehead and the inclusion of pointy toes for the feet :clap

Have you seen MFK2000's display? He's had a perfectly scaled 3D sculpt of the Castle Greyskull built to use as a background for his figure whereas mine is only 2D...

I think we did some changes via email also. Though I can't quite remember.
I love helping out on these type of things.

If it's the one with the forced perspective like the original background, then yes and it's pretty decent I think!

I am trying to find a someome to sculpt my She-Ra as all ego stroking aside, I genuinly think it would sell.
I am thinking like a Kotobokuyia type thing of all the ladies of MOTU:

Hard Hero did a statue line that was spot-on for the animated Thundercats from what I remember. They didn't get to complete the team and most of them were available on clearance. I just don't think there's a large enough fan base to support collectibles based on the franchise. Hopefully MOTU fares better.

Yeah honestly I always preferred the Hard Hero line, better scale for me, closer to the cartoon...

another newsletter and still no updates on he man

If this line ends up not doing well the only people to blame will be the company. Poor job advertising and maintaining hype as well as keeping us informed. Also flooding us with a lot of promise and preorders but we probably won't see He-Man for another year or longer. It's pretty silly.

Totally agree.

I was born in 1980 and MOTU characters hold a lot of fond nostalgia to me, so i was exited when this license was announced but i have since lost interest already, 4 WIP pics of characters and not one finished piece up for order yet, the marketing for this line has been terrible.

I hope this line doesn't fail but i wouldn't be surprised if it does considering the way its been handled so far.

I don't know why you guys are so negative. These statues are happening!

They aren't going to be showing sketches if they are not going to release them.

I would've thought that was obvious.

I'm pretty sure PCS has already done that with other properties, have they not? Heck they could cancel He-man if they wanted if they didn't get enough preorders. Nothing is guaranteed until it rolls off the factory line.

You don't know that. You and many others here are not experts.

Some might think themselves experts, as many tend to do on forums but few on forums are actually legitmate experts. Most are just load individuals with too much free time.

They don't release images of items they are not releasing.
If that has ever happened it is the exception rather than the rule!

I'm sure everything will be released and the line is moving forward. I don't doubt that. The only issue will be time. If you have 5 years to spare for a MOTU statue here and there then it's not an issue. But if you want a whole bunch of them in the the next two years, that isn't happening. PCS was moving along with the SF line these last few years but now with the MK line taking off, even SF releases are taking longer. MK seems to be front and center at this moment, so MOTU, with all their approvals and such, will just have to wait their turn.

Just my opinion...

that site needs some work big time. It took me 43 minutes of pressing refresh on TWO devices before it even let me get onto the site for the Sub Zero pre order. Right after I ordered Jerry posted they sold out also... If I miss Smoke because the site is ****ed up im going to be so ****ing mad.

twice. back to back times

Out of how many releases? And assuming that it's only two out of many, why base your opinion on an exception?

My suggested answer to that would be because being negative is easier ...expecially on forums.

Regardless, He-Man is coming out and I am particularly excited for Beastman for a whole bunch of reasons! :)
