Rockin uniforms Ironman!

BTW, I paid at Chris's site for one McCoy head, unpainted. So whoever is noting the head list, please make note of this. Thanks.

Great stuff!

Well, all Trek is good Trek (at least so far), but TOS is the originator and will always be something special. Just don't want the classic to be forgotten with all the new generated hype. BTW, I enjoyed Next Generation too, maybe we could see some of those characters produced in the near future, after all the original crew are finished out of course.

Same here. Especially TOS stories were about the world during that era, cold war, hippies, relegion etc. Someone once told me the Klingon was meant to represent USSR, Rumulan as China.

Just bought a BluRay TOS. Wow, the special affects are good! Can't wait to have the BluRay ST movies!

Such a naughty Ironman! You must subconsciously gave your mom a wrong measurement! :duh

Thanks Les!! Hard to believe those unis are about 20 years old now.

Nanjin, no measurements I gave her an old Barbie of my sisters but they sure measure different than real girl figures :naughty

Talking about MEASUREMENTS, I want to have some "ACTION Figures" of Seven of Nine and that Vulcan Officer in Enterprise. Secord thought, maybe I should make them using the new female Triad body for 7of9 (I still have to put some cotton balls into her outfit to make her MEASUREMENTS correct :naughty) and Obisu or Doffie body for the Vulcun beauty :banghead . Come to think of it, I only had the Star Trek Barbie but my dog took her out and never bought her back. Maybe she is somewhere in my backyard.

I've often thought a 7 of 9 would be a nice head. I do believe the Eva body comes with an appropriate chest plate....

That was one of the shames of the Playmates line. Their sculpts weren't overly bad but the female heads seemes a tad large and I heard horror stories of them "melting" during Hydroshrink attempts.

Hi Chris,

Have made payment through your site via Paypal for a McCoy head, drilled and unpainted, with a followup email.

Hadn't even gotten through all the postings in this thread and didn't get to see the pics before I'd ordered but did get the right email address to send you. Am so glad I was checking back through all your commission listings tonight. This will actually be my first commissioned head sculpt and really excited about it. DeForest Kelly has always been an actor I've enjoyed watching going as far back as the older black and white westerns he was in. Some of those old characters came out in the "Bones" character in the Trek TV series as well as the Trek movies. Truely a sad day when he passed on. With this sculpt it'll help bring back all those good memories. He'll eventually find himself in a western setting of his own after he arrives.

Many thanks to all involved in getting the word out to others and having enough interest to have these heads done.

I got the awesome opportunity to meet Jeri Ryan, in person at a small convention down here in New Orleans when Star Trek Voyager was on. She's a beautiful woman with all the right "curves". :naughty She signed a picture of herself as Seven Of Nine in the silver jumpsuit for me. :D

I'll post it on here soon.

Those TOS uniforms do look great! I like your custom Scotty too. Very nice.

Any update on the uniforms yet nanjin?

I have Good News and Bad News. Let's start with the Bad News.

The uniform sample is rejected because the cutting is not correct and they can't find the Gold color fabric that I chose. I will only accept the prototype uniform when it follows the scale down version of the Official Pattern. ABSOLUTELY Nothing Else on this; no corners cutting. Because they can't find the Gold color, I might have to choose another fabric which creates the Good News.

This gentleman, Roger (I forgot your screen name, Roger), sent me a blue color fabric sample. I believe this fabric is the best fabric to use for TOS uniforms! The texture and the blue color are perfect for TOS uniforms (the one I chose is about 90% accurate, his is 99%! texture wise). Now I have a good reason to ask the production company to look for this particular fabric. Of course, only if they can find the Gold color too.

Beside the above, they need to re-do the pants. Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen. All the above are only refinements, not problems! I think I should have a final price very soon. Stay tune!

Thanks for the update! Sorry to hear about the snag regarding the Gold. I am really happy that you are on it though, and that you won't settle for anything other than perfection. Rock on!
