So did the actors wear the whole heat set while they had the helmet on or did the prop maker just put the microphone and cable inside the helmet?

That I don't know. But, if I had to guess, I think the just stuffed the whole inside & just put padding around it.

Just received my Quasimodo ESB!

First i would like to apologize for those i hurt on the Hasbro BS topic, could seem very easy to criticize a 100 $ helmet when your Quasi is on the way, but that was absolutely not the goal.

Well, I decided that I needed an acrylic cover for my Han Solo ROTJ Blaster. I got the stand for it on eBay, before the blaster was finished.
So I called up Vicki at Acrylic Designs, & gave her the measurements of what I was looking for. She asked a few questions (round corners, rolled front edge, polished, & so on), & then she was really excited about what it would be covering.



I have to say, I'm thrilled with how it turned out. It fit around the base of the stand like a glove!


I'm only sorry that I waited as long as I did before getting it.
