Do you guys think RS would ever do an accurate Vader lid and mask? Also, the Boba that they have on their Facebook page is that screen lineage as well?

If you are looking for a screen lineage Vader. CFO(sskunky on the RPF) is doing a ROTJ helmet it is an authentic cast. Sourced from a production made helmet, that would be pretty hard to beat.

None of my RS Stormtrooper and Sandtrooper helmets had cracks on them. I have a First Edition ANH PP one; another ANH, but ABS this time, on my life-size Stormie armor; an ESB ABS; and the Anthony Forrest Sandie. Do you have images with your tube cracks?

Original on the left. Replacement on the right. Two different materials.

My ABS RS stormie cracked in the same spots. Same horizontal cracking.

Glad I'm not the only one. The first issue has cracks and holes in other places (look at corner of eye) but they did replace it with a dull one. They have been sitting in my room for years. I don't think it would be right to ask for a replacement now. What do you think? I see that they offer a pvc option. Is that any better? My memory isn't what it used to be. Weren't all the stunts in HDPE and painted and the heroes were glossy ABS?

Were the conditions in your room different over time? Heat, cold, moisture?
I think they should make the pulled plastic thicker. Maybe PVC would last longer in time?
I know Shepperton is not too loved, but personally I would like to have his type of clear coated ABS used on these RS helmets too. Not 100% accurate, but that coated ABS won't yellow and won't crack too easily.

My helmets (both of them cracked) were always displayed in a temp controlled room. No excess heat or cold no varying temps. The plastic is just really thin in that area. I LOVE the RS helmets but I am hesitant to get another because of the issues I had. Have since sold both my helmets on FISD.

The TE2 Stormie helmet I have is thicker than any RS helmet. The remaining SDS Stunt has also thicker ABS.

With the fate of Anovos up in air, I may be closing in on my first RS purchase.

I'll believe something when/if it happens with Anovos. I have the Gold Leader helmet on order and I'm gonna keep it unless something changes. I know if won't ship anywhere near the projected date, so I'm fine with that.

I'm more excited about an RS purchase.
