Hi, i just buy a stormtrooper efx helmet, is A New Hope version. Is my first 1:1 scale helmet and i like it but there is a fine plastic border in some places of the pieces that ensambly the helmet. I guess that are rests of the mold. Is this right ? Happen always with all this kind of helmets ?

Im guessing it is the CE version of the Stormtrooper helmet. I dont own one but seen the insides and it appears how you describe it if I'm understanding correctly. The CE is assembled and the LE is a one piece mold, I think...

I guess I was quite lucky with Dan. I told him this helmet arrived a few weeks ago but no reply. He might be very busy, he was a bit behind the schedule and needed to recoup. One of the things I appreciate about him is that he never takes more than he can chew, when he cannot make a helmet/armor (of course there will be delays, but in the end he will deliver) he simply tells that to the people or doesn't reply. I'd say you should try again after some time.

The upgraded parts came from Trooperbay (TI-1138 sticker) and Targ (hoses and neck trim). In fact Targ was kind enough to send me one single long hose, and I put it behind the helmet stand in a loop, thus I can display it like in the above pic, or cut it in half and use both parts on a chest-box if want to. From Targ I also have a cool electronic LED TIE Pilot compad

thanks man! Yeah, i've had Gree for a while, i didn't get him directly from MR but also didn't have to pay the crazy after market prices. Sorry to hear that, if i know of any that come up for sale, i'll let you know!

haha, waiting for EFX Stormtrooper Legend, bunch of HT stuff but still working out the layout of the cave. I sold my two TK Kits, i am in the 501st but inactive unfortunately. My next kit would be the Fett but that's just a thought lol. I know it's pricey but so worth it!

thanks man, I highly recommend picking up the EFX Vader, whether it's the legend or LE, it's a beautiful piece! I sold my ROTS lid for it and haven't looked back ever since!

Hmmm... thats why I havent got the EFX, I have the MR version. Now its two Vaders or do what you did

if i had the money for both i'd keep both, one ideal and THE ONE original, but if i had to choose, EFX ANH all the way!

I did the same thing and the only way I'd get rid of this is if they ever came out with an ESB/ROTJ one.
