Here is my Anakin repaint, which is also becomming a Mustafar Anakin. I am sculpting new hair for him, for that sweaty, I'm going to kill Obi-Wan look.

Of course, on another forum, this would be considered ruining the figure by some, but I thought it would be appreciated here!

I had some dark brown that is almost dried up, which kinda resembles shoe polish. I rubbed it onto the boot to make a better shade of brown, and then used various lighter shades to drybrush on top to give it the weathering. I used some pictures of the costume at a convention (possibly C3) to try and match the weathering as close as possible.

Here's a first look "sneak peek" anywhere of my Les Walker (Figuremaster Les) Sith Anakin. A quick note: I asked Les to go about 2/3 Sith eyes with this (Anakin Exclusive), not too heavy in the undereye area. I imagine this may reflect Anakin's look as he first appeared with Sith eyes in ROTS. Les shaved the jawline as he did with Gruff's amazing Anakin, kept the eyes looking up and lightened the hair.

Thanks sunohc, it is so much greater in person, honestly. As far as rates and repaint order availability, you should probably contact Les directly. :D

well finally... my resin and silicone kit arrived from the US, so this weekend i can get on with molding and casting my Anakin reculpt...... an accurate looking Sith Vader WILL be mine! :lol

well i really dont know much about this... this is my first attempt, but i just did searches on google and on forums abour molding and casting.

this were two of many pages i ended up on which were all helpful in their own ways

https://www.geocities.com/brothaj311/megohowto_moldmaking01.html

https://www.geocities.com/brothaj311/megohowto_plasticcasting01.html

I know there are other people on here who have done it many many times though, and they will be much more help to you that i ever could be

......... I.... I just realised i came in straight after a post about Les's anakin with the phrase "an accurate anakin will be mine" or something.....

I hope it didn't sound like I was saying Les's wasn't, that's not what I meant at all.... I love Les's work... who doesnt :) (and DA, and Mikey.. and anyone else Ive forgotten)

I've just been waiting so long for my Vader to arrive, and then when it did my resin wasnt here... lol. I've been itching to get on with it so I've become kind of impatient.... apologies if anyone took it the wrong way

(and if nobody did.. then... umm... apologies for this ramble ,lol)

Darren

Thanks man! And I can attest that he doesn't look AS sleepy in person... just a LITTLE sleepy... :lol

The eye color helps though... I really love that figure. Maybe one day I will lower the eyes just a little. I was trying to take away that blank stare and made him sleepy by doing so. It's a hard tightrope to walk.
