Thanks for the heads up there Snake.

Honestly? The production values were great - I'll give it that. I could think of a dozen smartarse things to say about it, but I won't.

Maybe just one thing - no. :lol

Having it centered around Tommy is so irritating.

Tommy was THE ranger, bro (matched only by Jason). :lecture Makes sense to make centered on him.

Production value on this was indeed great but it ends there. The dialogue was terrible and the acting pretty subpar. I honestly don't understand what people see on Katee Sackhoff.

Hahaha this was terrible, I hope all those who use the term "dark and gritty" willy nilly for reboots and sequels finally know what it means :rotfl dear lord I was laughing all along.

The only good thing about this is Katee Sackhoff.

This reminded me of the dark and gritty Dora the explorer reboot parody. :lol

Why didn't they get the real Green Ranger? He still plays the character and goes to comic cons.

he made a reaction video about it on his facebook

read the script, and didnt think this was appropriate for little kids, power rangers need to stay pg 13
Power rangers are still loved by kids and it is still on nickelodeon, it is not just for adults yet.
the drugs and violence is not cool with him
he only does SABAN approved projects (those fight videos he did as a ranger were saban approved

he really really wants to be in the new Lionsgate PR movie and doesnt want to mess it up

Saban wants this taken down now.

the response from the director:

"Saban is trying to shut Power/Rangers down," the film's director Joseph Kahn wrote in a tweet earlier today in response to complaints from the IP owners. "If you'd like to keep watching, tell them to stop harassing me."
\
"Every image in Power/Rangers is original footage. Nothing was pre-existing. There is no copyrighted footage in the short. I am not making any money on it and I refuse to accept any from anyone. It was not even Kickstarted, I paid for it myself. This was made to be given away for free. It is just as if I drew a pic of Power Rangers on a napkin and I gave it to my friend. Is it illegal to give pic I drew of a character on a napkin to someone for free? No."

That's surprising, considering he's been trying to get every nickel he can out of the franchise.

it really sounded like he is just hoping like crazy that he gets hired for the new movie

(He also mentioned imagining his kid watching this and feeling bad about it as a parent)

He also stated that the reboot wouldn't work without him... really? The first like 15 episodes of season 1 worked perfectly fine before him. He's a giant egomaniac, and I've read about a lot of people saying at cons he LOVES the smell of his own farts. Him and Austin St. John have had a beef since season 1, since JDF won't let it go.

JDF was also a real **** head to David Yost (Blue Ranger) by pulling pranks on him. I saw in an interview with Yost telling what he did to him, like putting a bug in a sandwich and giving it to him, which he ate and he told him about it later.

This is the pompous ass that JDF is.
