A fan made video is probably the only way he can get around the licensing issues. If he actually made a full length indie film, he would most certainly be in breach of copyright material.

oh sorry, i didnt mean a small indie film about power rangers, i meant an original small indie film

it feels like he is spending all this money on his geeky dream projects but if i was him i think i would be producing some low budget movie instead
